Dodgy hugs to those that need them :grouphug:

I don't know what's going on with me this month. I have had DBS since last thursday and that's all, no fresh spotting just DBS. I am on CD35 today and admittedly do feel like AF is on her way.....she must just be running later than usual.
Usual cycle lengths are 28-30 days. Only exception this year was a 38 in jan/feb and 33 aug/sept. If I get as far as CD38 with AF no show i'll test to see what's going on.

Also something weird started today.....I have a clear CM like fluid kind of mixed in with the DBS.....I rarely get CM but when I do it's at the normal mid-cycle time

Sorry to hear that ginvzt, I hope you are not suffering too much. I am not sure if it is better to turn up like clockwork, or at least have the am I/arent I feeling for a few days.

Hope you are okay - is that your last month of clomid?

I know what you mean about "am I/aren't I" days. It gives some hope. And I was bumping between "I still might be pregnant" to "I am sure I am not, AF is here". Well, I know I am not now. I am in quite a lot of pain. Left work early, and wasn't sure I will be able to drive back, but managed in the end. I am not on my comfy sofa with hot water bottle, blanket and laptop on my lap. Oh, and cat trying to curl up on my laptop! I have to go to the office tomorrow, I was planning to stay home, which would have been great, but I am sure I will survive..

This will be my last month on Clomid. I am seeing my consultant on New Year's Eve, will see what he says then. It will be CD22, so will see what he suggests to do next. I don't know if I want to get another few months of Clomid - there are no results as yet to show any success, but I am getting so much more pain. But then - I don't know what else he can do!

Hugs to everyone who needs them and a big mug of hot chocolate with whipped cream on top going too if anyone would like one...

I had my appointment today yey :j I am not going to get treatment as soon as I thought as they are relocating and this has caused delays. OH will have a more deatils sperm analysis in feb then we will get an appointment 2 weeks later to discuss if we need ivf or icsi then it should all go ahead in march/april and from april there is a chance in my area they will be changing it from 1 go on NHS to 2 and they freeze eggs upto a year with no cost. She did say not to worry but your fsh levels were 10.5 on your last blood test this goes up when you are going through menapause but I dont think you are it could be that the blood test was not done at right time but straight away I was . I am having another test to check it hopefully its nothing to worry about

The lady had this on her desk and I thought it was lovely http://www.bloomsohio.com/willowtree/WillowTreeLgPics/Hope-Lg.jpg
  • nichart, dont worry, mine is 11. How old are you? As she said, if it is taken at the wrong time, it will be higher. I had a reading of 18 once, and really panicked. I think menopause starting is about 30 or something, maybe someone knows more?

  • Hi everyone

Lilo - My OH is with yours on the big grin front!!!

Legacy - Know exactly how you feel - all us good people are struggling when some people who don't appreciate it seem to pop babies out every other minute. Try and keep your hospital appointment though - even if you haven't lost the weight - perhaps your consultant can give you some advice or do you have a counsellor in the unit you can speak to?

I have still got 1 1/2 stone to lose but my counsellor told me to focus on progress not perfection! This actually helped me a lot as so far I have lowered my bmi from 36 to 33 (2 dress sizes), can now run 3 miles and have given up smoking so a big improvement on where I was this time last year. Next year's goal is to get under the 30 BMI and drop another 2 dress sizes - along with the obvious!!!!

Update from me - been for the next round of follicle tracking on MOnday - scan showed 1 at 11.5mm so we are bding every other day and go back on Friday to see how much it has grown.

I also have a date for my surgery - hycosy under anaesthetic plus dilating the stitch from my prev surgery - which is 22 December - eek not long to go now. There is a small chance that I coudl be pg on that day (will be CD32) and I think they probably do a test before any surgery anyway but think I might do my own just to be on the safe side!!!!

AF is due Christmas Day - trying not to get my hopes up about what a fabulous Christmas present that would be. It's our third Christmas too. Next Christmas we are planning to go to the Maldives or somewhere equally exotic for OH 40th but I'm really hoping those plans get scuppered!!!

I go shopping every year with my mum to Lakeside in Essex and the past 3 years I have wanted to go round a shop and buy some baby clothes and then nonchalantly tell my mum that they are for me. One year!!!

    baby dust to everyone

Hi ginvzt. Don't force yourself with the clomid. With encouragement from this thread I managed to get through my three months, but then I didn't go back for more. You know if you can take any more of it (and if you can then do - you may as well!) but for me I knew I was starting to go absolutely loopy. OH and I were arguing, I was crying all the time and was just generally miserable. (And when I say crying, it was non-stop, in public, just entirely uncontrollable...)
I can't remember the exact stats now, but when I considered that something like 8/10 people who concieve on clomid do it in the first 3 months of it, I just opted out.
Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o :o

I can 'survive' on Clomid, is not that bad. AF is very painful the first day though! (And then not much of it, it seems like it on the way out and it has been here for barely 24 hours!) However, since I ovulate without it, I am not sure I see 'point' of taking it..

Oh well, no testing for me....AF arrived big style tonight. Counting tomorrow as CD1 (because AF showed up so late in the day) that makes this cycle 36 days long.
