    Mortgage-free Glee!
    Hi all,

I have got my husbands family coming over this weekend. We do this every year - taking turns to host. It's our turn, lucky us:D

I am going to ensure I get no chance of being harangued by my inlaws about our lack of pregnancy by keeping busy and staying out of the lounge as much as possible. We are cooking cup cakes for our niece and nephew so I will help them decorate them.

Ginvzt, I get that horrible depression every month, I know exactly how you feel. xx

I think we could all do with some magic wands around here!!!

Wish me strength for the weekend, have fun everyone whatever you are doing.
:D Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!:D

angelavdavis, best of luck and patience over the weekend! We know you can do it!

nichart - sorry about AF. Can't AF go on Christmas holiday or something?! I am just waiting for mine. I have a little bit of hope, but with every hour going by, that hope gets smaller and smaller. And the worst - we are going to stay at friends tomorrow, and I bet AF will show up as soon as we set the foot out of our front door! I did have a bit of a cry this morning, but hey - that is all I can do, I can't make myself to get pregnant, even if we do 'deed'! It is just so frustrating.

Anyone for a cup of tea and some biscuits? Kettle is on, pull up a chair...

Here you go everyone, cream tea for those who want one, just tea for those who are on a weightloss kick.:D
AF has arrived for me today, and I'm one of the lucky ones who is actually quite pleased to see her (for once). This is the first one since having the dodgy tube removed, and I was sure it was going to be a painful one. It may yet be, but it has arrived quietly without any pomp or ceremony, and for that I am very grateful.
Today I went into town with my mother to see how my stamina is building up (and to take advantage of the unfortunate Borders liquidation) and I made it quite nicely! I have another week off work, so I might be able to get some stuff done next week before I go back. All in the interest of building up my stamina of course...

I am finally of the mental state to begin to hope that this operation might enable OH and I to concieve naturally. I couldn't bear to think about it before, but now I am allowing myself the tiniest little glimmer of possibility. All very scary of course, not hoping is so much easier than hoping. But I'm feeling big and brave, and I have decided to allow myself this indulgence. It'll be about 6 months until the clinic is ready to call us for our IVF, and with my single tube I must remind myself that that's only 3 goes. That's hardly any time at all... I really feel that 2010 is going to be my year, one way or another. C'mon ladies, let's put this failed year behind us, and look forwards to the possibilities of the next one.

To those of you searching for your PMAs, I can only recommend a couple of weeks off work. It's done wonders for me. Christmas is coming up, do what you can to make whatever time off you get full of relaxation (not the yuletide stresses we can all put upon ourselves) and think about what wonders the time off could do for you. Christmas is only as stressful as we let it be - how are you going to make it easier on yourself?
We're having christmas lunch over mam's this year. No buying, cooking, cleaning for us this year.:T:T
Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o :o

Wow, that is a whole feast, jiblets!!!

I am so glad, you are feeling better (I am sorry for Borders too - it was my favourite bookstore...). I would love some time off, it is a bit less than 3 weeks to go now, so I am trying hard to wait! I will be having more than 2 weeks off this time, although we are not going back home, and we are having some visitors for just a week. OH was saying that I will need time for medical stuff, but I need time off!!!!! I don't like this job as it is, and with all the rest on my mind, I am feeling it.

Oh well, weekend nearly here, so need to start sorting out my 'home-made gifts' for tomorrow (early Christmas get-together), and get to the shop to get the last ingredients for the rabbit we are making tomorrow. At least I don't need to scrub the house as it is happening at friends' house!

    hi all
well sadly it's a BFN this time... not that surprised as I think the eggs didn't get a chance to mature properly and they did say we had a 1 in 10 chance.. so odds pretty much against us
I am maintaining a PMA and looking forward (now that I have glycerine to help with progesterone side effects) to trying again - we have our follow up in 2 weeks so let's see when we get go ahead to start again
Good luck in the meantime to everyone else
    xx

Your all sounding very organised and have some lovely plans ahead!!

I am feeling a little more positive today paid a chunk of my credit card and I know once all our debts clear it will only take us 5 months to save enough to fund ivf as dont want to get credit to fund it. Didnt help that I found out my next door neighbour is pregnant again today but **must think positive must think positive** :o

Well I'm on my 3rd (and last) cycle of Puregon.

Went back today for a scan (day 15) and my eggs are 12cm , have only grown slightly from my last scan on Weds. Spoke to my consultant and he has said to up my dose to 125mcg until Monday. If no result by Monday they won't continue.

Feeling a bit sad as it is my last go and the end of the line for us. Fertility nurse has told me to see GP to be signed off as my work is really stressful and its all getting me down a bit.

Sorry for rambling just really needed to write it all down
Give me the boy until he's seven and i'll give you the man.

Hi all, sorry to read not much good news to end the week with.

Meercat, big hug for you, not much else I can say that you haven't heard before, but you're in my thoughts x

Plumpmouse, same goes for you, x

Jiblets, great to read you're doing better than you expected! So make the most of your remaining time off and chill as much as you can, it sounds like it is doing you wonders! Unfortunately time off for me is a real pipe dream as I'm getting busier towards Christmas and I've already got work in the diary for January and February. Ah well, when we do finally get a break I'm sure it will be all better for having waited for it...

Tea and biscuits sounds lovely, thank you!
