welcome skintmumofone. Sounds like you've been at this a good while. Are the doctors willing to take you a step further - clomid or something similar? I assume they won't give you IVF on the NHS as you have DS, but surely they have something else to suggest? I would suggest popping in to see them to let them know how your weightloss is going. (Well done by the way!) Good luckAm not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o0

I really thought that this month was going to be my month, but no BFP.
I am really begining to wonder if I am too old at 43 to conceive & am thinking of asking my GP if I can have blood tests to check my hormone levels & if I am ovulating.
If I find that I am too old & it is impossible to conceive then I think that I would be able to accept it in time, but this not knowing & building my hopes up each month is killing me.0 -
BEWARE THIS IS A VENT!!!
So if you've decided your going to read this, I wish you a good evening,
I guess I'm just having a crap week. My diets gone to pot, exercise has gone to pot, to rainy. Early morning exercise hasn't been attempted due to my alarm waking DS up!!!
Been sleeping for England for the last 2 weeks, so I went to the drs, done bloods to check for thyroid or animea, but thinks it was viral. Best thing is not to sleep during the day. So been trying to do this but end up being a grump cow by teatime!!!
Af is due next week but I am pretty sure now that I am not pregnant!!
So all in all everything is pants!!!
Thanks for reading
I promise next time I come on I'll be cheerful

Butterfly, you are allowed a rant and yes I read it to the end!
I'm also not having the best of weeks, have hit my peak fertility today and OH is now away until Friday, then chances are when he's back he'll be too stressed and low to perform anyway! On the plus side - nope, can't think of one!
So hope things improve for you soon, x
Natalie, aww hun don't give up hope yet. I would say go and see your GP as it might just put a few of those gremlins to bed for you. We all know how hard it is to get our hopes dashed every cycle, but you just never know when luck will come your way - and miracles do happen, I keep being told! I don't want to give up yet despite my age and still need company like yours to keep me going, so hang in there please! x0 -
Hi everyone,
Quick note from me.
I have restarted the accupuncture and although treatment one mainly consisting of me going through the whole awful ICSI saga, treatment two was positive today and she has asked me to start taking my temperature again every morning.
My body still feels like it is out of balance since the failed ICSI.
Welcome skintmumofone.
My thoughts are with anyone who finds AF arriving the most depressing experience.... x
Best wishes to all. Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!

Welcome skintmumof one!!!!
Butterfly, I know how you feel!!!! I had this recently and was feeling like that for nearly 2 months!!!! In addition I had a terrible cough, that made my chest ache and I couldn't even finish a sentence without coughing, incredibly sore throat that I couldn't swallow easily and lost my voice for a few days. I went to GP couple of times and first time I was just dismissed with irritable airways without even looking at my throat. Few weeks later I saw another GP (the one I like) and he was very sympathetic, and said it was viral and they couldn't do much, but it would pass in a couple of weeks. Well, it sort of did.
And Bunnie - don't lose the hope!Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
I dunno how I feel at the moment - last few months I've been utterly convinced I was PG and symptom spotting like mad. This month - nowt. Still sat on the TWW which seems to be dragging like nothing else but not at all hopeful about anything happening - baps are sore but recently they've been painful from the middle of the month. Just tired as heck which is probably just down to late nights and finally being off work. Got another full week to wait out yet - oh yay.Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0

Dizziblonde, well you never know do you, so try not to dwell on it and I'll pray AF stays away for you this month! That would be good news on here and I think we're due some, x0
