Peonie - great news that you're getting funding for two rounds, hurrah :)

Lucy - 15 eggs? What an overachiever ;) That's amazing. Fingers crossed for the phone call today, I hope you get 15 lovely embryos.

Tea - I think we are all worried about you. You've been through so much it's not surprising you're struggling now. I've never had relationship counselling but I have thought about having infertility counselling as I am finding it all so hard to bear and still somehow have to put on a brave face and get on with everyday life. I agree you should look into getting signed off for a bit and taking a bit of time out for yourself to try and process how you feel about everything.

I have a friend who is going through a very similar thing at the moment, she's due her third round of ICSI in a couple of months but isn't sure she can stay with her other half. He hasn't been any support at all to her through two failed attempts, or the recent death of one of her close family members (couldn't even be bothered to go the funeral) and she's starting to really resent him for it, unsurprisingly. The whole thing is so sad and I wish I could do more to help her, but there's a lot of soul searching going on and she hasn't taken any time off work either and I think it's taking its toll on her a bit.

TACOD - yes please let's be exercise/weight loss buddies! I was very good yesterday, 3 mile run AND a spin class, and will do a spin class this evening too. My USB stick finally arrived yesterday so I'll get it in the post to you today or tomorrow and then I can do insanity with you... also bought an exercise ball yesterday. (Just realised that might have been in the other thread... oh well.)

Primmer - honestly it's so sickening that there are so many kids needing good loving homes, and there are potential parents just dying to provide the homes but because they were reckless enough (!) to get financing for IVF to try and start their family, they are excluded and these poor kids have to keep looking. I was genuinely shocked about this. Whoever wrote this particular rule needs a good slap.

Chickpea - extra hugs for you, hope you're taking care of yourself xxx

Not sure why I do this to myself, but bfn today at 14dpo. Now to wait for the sudden rapid arrival of AF at an inconvenient time today sometime.

    My details are:

Chickpea, 40. TTC#2 since 09/09. Low AMH. 12 cycles Clomid BFN, 6 cycles ovulation induction (Gonal F + Ovitrelle) BFN. Natural BFP 06/13, MMC 08/13.

    I've added you.

SewIt: Do you want to be added? If so, can you do me a quick little summary like ChickPea and I will add to the list. The latest one is a few pages back.

Sorry not to do personal responses today, I'm trying as hard as I can to stay positive and it's not quite working. I'm 37 tomorrow, and I know I should be happy to get there bearing in mind the year I have had, but well.. you know... it just hurts to have made no progress really for years now.

Lucy: Wow! What a fantastic result. I've everthing crossed for the next stage.

T2D: *hugs* to you. Most of the time I manage to not think about how much time has passed and lack of progress, but some days just bring it all home, don't they? Look after yourself.

And AFM...I was talking to my acupuncture chap about my first IVF appointment and he was talking about the extra sessions I can have over egg collection etc. I confess I got a little bit excited. I'm a little scared too, not just in case it doesn't work, but losing the hope of this option too, but it is nice just to be actually doing something other than waiting (except of course I'm still waiting for the consultation!).

I know a few of you also read May's blog and were very excited by her +ve result after IVF. It's not looking good now :( Feel so sad for them both.

It really is a good read - apart from obviously so terribly sad at the moment :( There's a few of us on here that have read it and can definitely identify with a lot of what she writes. It's well-written and puts in words what so many of us are feeling. Definitely worth a look sometime. Still have everything crossed for her that everything is ok.

Recently discovered this blog as well. It's American (so lots of talk of diapers and semesters lol) but again, really seems to sum up how I'm feeling about things.

    Hi everyone!

Happy birthday for tomorrow TTD. It could be worse - you could be 40, like me..!

Peonie - 2 cycles funded is great, hope you only need 1 though. Good luck with it. Remember to eat lots of protein now, it can only help your eggs.

Lucyloo- 15 eggs is a fantastic result, let's hope there's some good embies come from that lot.

Part Mouse - thanks for being so nice (also Angeltreats and Sewit, to whom, welcome.)

Teacakes+d - I didn't realise you had been so struck down by this whole thing - I can relate though. Hope you can gradually see a light at the end of the tunnel (and it's not just another train coming..)

I'm trying to get GP to sign me off for another 2 weeks. Not ready for return to non-pg reality just yet.

Still a faint + on HPT and OPK - I guess there's no chance of OV until I get a -ve HPT, so that's frustrating.
