    Good luck Lucy :)
*hugs* Code, they might do another test just to check.
I appreciate to have been seen in a local Gynae/FS clinic. I do feel fobbed off with" try clomid" (all my tests fine) I left the last appointment thinking how's that going to help his SC!!?? and not very positive :(.
Going to be more forceful in my next appointment. Have also lost 1/2 a stone since my last appointment and BMI under 30. So they can't use that against me.
Would not mind so much if I was in my early 30's

:( Apparently the most recent NICE guidelines don't actually recommend Clomid in these cases and rumour has it that it's basically a way to fob people off for another six months before referring for IVF.
I was referred straight to IVF.

My IVF/ICSI cycle has been going ok. Got roughly triple the amount of good size follicles this time (they upped my dose of Gonal f quite a lot for this cycle - only got 3 eggs last time). Had my last scan this morning and am booked in for EC on Wednesday this week at 9.30am. I feel physically prepared to deal with this, but emotionally (in the event of a bad outcome) hmmm, definitely not. Feels like every one of my hopes and dreams are hinging on this cycle.
Good luck. I hope it works.

Well, another friend is pregnant. We've not seen them for a few months and it was only at the weekend I said to Mr P that we should invite them round. Now I really do not feel like seeing them.

peonie - I'm pretty sure everyone is pg. Old people, young people, men, pandas. Everyone in the world apart from me it feels like - where are you all?? Why don't the fertility-challenged people ever meet IRL? Are we so hidden by the bright shinyness of the pg people that no one can even see us?

Feeling v rubbish today. Have already bitten the head off the two people who've dared to speak to me at work. Am very, very tempted to just walk out without saying anything. Seems to take more and more effort each day to just be, you know, normal. I don't know how much longer I can manage it for. I want to leave - work, OH, all of it. I want to leave and just be on my own and not have to speak to anyone for a month. Surely only kids dream about running away?

TL after yesterday I feel like being on my own for a year... Yep the world has a conspiracy against us, everyone pregnant here too, everyone but me that is.
Made face book cull yesterday seems only singletons and oldies left in my friends list, everyone fertile and with a happy family was banned.

I feel hateful :/ and then I feel awful for being such a witch :/

On another note I managed to stay on the calorie target besides the depression.

Anyone out there on metformin? Just upped the dose to 2 50mg a day on Sunday and it is doing terrible things to my insides :s does it get better?!

Metformin is straight from the devil imo, horrible stuff. I'm supposed to be on 3x500mg a day but I just can't do it. My insides have finally settled down at 2x500mg (took about a year!) but 3 just kills me. I'm determined to get the dose up again at some point but it's not going well so far.

On the plus side - metformin and a yoghurt is the most effective treatment for constipation ever :o:rotfl:.

Metformin is evil, it didn't do anything for me either.

They sold it to me almost as a wonder drug... I thought there was no harm in taking it, but my digestive system recoils at the mention of it now....

I was really hoping they'd tell me not to bother taking it anymore at our last appointment but no. They went on and on about how it's even more important now that I've had a m/c, so now I feel I'm stuck with it.
