Vodkashot so sorry to hear. It must be so heartbreaking. This whole rollercoaster is such a nightmare. Can you skip the family do? You need to recover mentally so give yourself a break if you can.

Vodkashot - I agree with T2D.. If you can miss the family do, then give yourself a break. Do the family know about the IVF/TTC? It's completely understandable that you feel so raw, do be gentle with yourself. Hugs x

Thank you all for your kind wishes. Feeling a bit better today aside from the terrible stomach cramps. Just got to stay optimistic and keep trudging on. What will be, will be :)

Hi all, I know I don't post much on here - i'm more of a regular on the other board however, I did join here a while ago as I've been trying for 2 years now and have been seeing the FS while I lose weight to await fertility treatment.

I have PCOS and hubby has a low count so we were told that we were very unlikely to get preg naturally - I am currently losing weight as he referred us for IVF, or most likely ICSI.

But this morning I got a BFP!!! I'm not even sure what to do with myself at the moment as its such a huge shock!!! You can see the pics on the original site but I'm finding it hard to believe myself!!! :j:j

vodkashot - massive hugs. Our first (and probably only) ICSI cycle ended similarly 2 months ago so I have some idea how you're feeling. All I can say is I'm thinking of you, and sending massive hugs. Take care xx.

Vodka shot - how are you doing, just wanted to let you know that you are in my thoughts.

Squirrel - congrats on the BFP!

AFM - as our ivf was unsuccessful and we couldn't afford another go, we decided to look at adoption as we are just desperate for a child. We went to an initial meeting and all was looking good. We then had a social worker visit at home for an afternoon and she told us that she would recommend her manager put us on the july prep course. Unfortunately, the manager decided that with our credit card debt meant could not proceed at this time. The credit card debts are being paid each month without difficulty and were incurred paying for ivf and work to our home. It now feels like we are being punished for paying for ivf treatment which is just soul destroying :( the manager said she will be in touch in September to see how much we have reduced the debt. We are obviously doing all we can but its is impossible to clear the debt in what is basically 2 months. It just seems so unfair as we both have good salaries and never struggled with any payments and can't help thinking about all the people who get pregnant with no money and we are being punished for a bit of credit card debt - life is so unfair :(
