    Welcome Pickle.

I'm in a bit of shock. We're back from our FS appointment. He reiterated that the op showed I have severe endo (including on my fallopian tubes and ovary), removed a cyst from an ovary and said they'd normally wait for 6 months to see if I got pregnant. Instead he's referring me for IVF straight away. There's a 3 or 4 month wait. Until then we'll carry on trying. I get to have 2 cycles. He was very positive I would get pregnant.

Welcome pickle :) have you been to the GP to kick things off?

Yeah, done all the stuff, had all the tests. Nothing is wrong, apart from the bleedin' obvious.. I'm on Clomid for a "boost", on my third cycle now. Doctor has said come back in 6 months..

Good that that they are taking action and getting things moving Peonie :)

I was not expecting to move onto IVF. After the op a specialist did not tell me the results so I expected him to tell me what they found and to be told to wait and see if the op worked. I got upset in case it does not work. Then that's it. I wish we could get pregnant without help.

Peonie sounds like you've been through a lot, I know it must be shattering to be told you need IVF and it seems like such a last resort but so many ladies to get pg with it so hoping it works for you.

    Hey everyone,

I have been a lurker on here for a good few months now. Hadn't really wanted to come out in public and say it all over the Internet but I'm really struggling at the moment. Really....

    Here's our history:

    Me: 26 OH: 34

I have a little girl, almost 6 and a half ( conceived on the pill! ) and OH has a little girl 4 ( took 5 months ) both from previous relationships.

So we have been together over 3 years now and started trying after 6 months together - I came off the implant ( had that in for 4 years - not all at once, got it changed after 3 )

My cycles took forever to return to some sort of normality, I hadn't had a period at all on the implant. Never, in 4 years!
Anyway after 13 months trying we got pregnant and were so excited because we had wanted it for so long. Sadly we lost that baby, missed miscarriage.

That was April 2012. Oct 2012 I went to the doctors to ask them to investigate what was going on with my cycles, they asked me to wait 18 months because I was young! I refused so they did day 21's - showed no ovulation. Then in Dec 2012 I went for a scan on my ovaries, which showed a nice left one but a PCOS right one!

OH did his test then, and we were told March 2013 that he had low everything! Second test was better, and the FS said "normal" but it isn't not my any stretch! That was May 2012 our appointment.

They gave me provera to start a new cycle so I could have an HSG - which I did the end of May, showed normal tubes.
I did another set of bloods - again showed no ovulation.

So now we have an appointment for 10th July to go back and get these results properly and see what the next step is. I'm really hoping for clomid.

My cycles can be between 20-60 days! Last one was 50 :-(

I'm really struggling with all this, all I want is to have a baby, a child, a brother or sister for our children and we can't.

I know so many people who are pregnant, and a few who really didn't want them ( won't go into that on here ) but it makes me feel so so angry and frustrated that people who don't want it get it so easily! It's not fair - and that's what I can't handle just now.

Sorry to join in with a huge rant to start.

Congratulations to all those who have had a BFP recently.

    Xxx

Welcome Mrs. I'm sorry you are having a hard time - have a virtual hug. I'm sure someone will come along who have been through something similar and will have some medical advice.

Hi MrsDavo, its all so frustrating isn't it, the waiting. I hope you get your Clomid. Has your OH been doing stuff to boost his count, the easy stuff, loose pants, vitamins, no hot baths etc?

    Hello newbies and welcome :)
    Hi Nikki and Fluff :)
Good luck Peonie, hope you're okay, I always found it could take a couple of days to get my head round what was said at an appointment :)

Still nothing going here, am going to phone the hospital when I get a chance and see what's happening. Why don't they have any eggs? :(

    Hi all,
Hi Pickle and MrsDavo, *hugs* it's a hard emotional journey. We understand here.
Peonie, Glad they are not messing around with waits for you. Keep us updated, hope they get earlier clinics for you.

Nothing much here. On Our 4th house view this week and work is work.
Only thing I have found with Clomid is that I am Ulta tired. Always feel tired due to shift work and long streach of days, but not this tired.
