Welcome Mrs. I'm sorry you are having a hard time - have a virtual hug. I'm sure someone will come along who have been through something similar and will have some medical advice.

    Thank you :)
I hope that you get an IVF appointment soon xx

Picklekin - It's very frustrating. A friend of mine who has been through this said its like an illness - you can't function properly because all you think about is getting pregnant. And she's right.

He wears loose boxers anyway Hun, what vitamins can he use? No one has advised us what to do to boost his count? Most of them were non viable. At least 75%. 8% were fast moving in the last test, that was 2% in the first test. He never usually has a bath, always a shower so don't think that's an issue. I'd love to know of any vitamins that I could get him though.

Good vibes than you for the hug. Xx

    MrsDavo,
We have been trying for 16 months and have only come back with low sperm count. Both have no children yet! We are still going through the hoops while we wait for IUI/IVF referral, hence trying me on clomid for a bit (to hyper-stimulate me, I guess).
I have OH on wellman vits and extra zinc in the mean time. We also use conceive plus to help the swimers along.

I've heard zinc and selenium are good, I have OH on a standard multivit and boost the rest with nuts and bananas. Poor chap is not keen of the Brazil nuts, but I make him!

That's great info thank you! I am going to have a look into it now and get some vit's into him!

If we take out the fact we had a missed miscarriage last year we have been trying since January 2011! and trying 15 months since we lost our baby.

    It's very hard to take.

Good luck onestep! Must be more than a bit nervewracking.

Is anyone else looking forward to the tennis? I'm quite excited. Although missed the good weather today with seven hours waiting at the eye hospital. Went to get my script redone due to headaches abs she told me I had a corneal ulcer. I sense my immune system just isn't what it used to be. All good now, but quite a waste of time.

CD 8 for me but still not feeling quite right. Sore boobs and bloated still. I'm going to start opks tomorrow as I used to ovulate around CD12 so will be keen top find out if things still work normally!

:(Just need to share this today as my heart is broken.
After 3 failed IUIs we started our first IVF.

Embryo transfer took place on 24th July and I am due to have my blood test on Monday. Yesterday I started spotting and after googling every possible explanation on the net I was still fairly optimistic. But this morning I came on and I'm devastated. Just want to crawl into bed and stay there. Trying to be brave on the outside but inside I'm in pieces.

Worse still I have a big family do tomorrow and no doubt someone will ask me when is the pit patter of tiny feet.

I was so hopeful. Someone at work told me they'd dreamt of me and in the dream I was pregnant. The day of the embryo transfer I heard a special song of mine. All these things I took as signs.

I know we can try again but I don't know how many more emotional rollercoasters I want to ride. I just feel so sad. :(

Vodkashot, my heart goes out to you *hugs* and can not know what your going through. you have every right to feel like you do, we all wish we could make it better and are here to support.
Onestep- ooh looking forward to your updates and yes it's very quiet on here.
T2D- am more a F1 fan here, not seen any of the tennis.

afm. dear me. Said to OH about my skin today. Very spotty, he agreed. Not normally like this, must be clomid.
    Just tiredness and spots.
Due to ov in next day or so.
OH has totally healed from his op now. Still wonder if having a pilonidal sinus and infection for many years may have an effect on his count.
