Was it low though because it was done on cd21 or did you get it done at 7dpo and it was still low?

I suppose either way you got to try it.

It was 7dpo - nowhere near day 21 for me. Repeated on three different cycles and was always low or borderline.

Afm I'm on cd 3 but only had approx a weeks break in a month from af. I'm so drained now its untrue :( and I know I can't even ttc with a cycle like that. Will be back to trying to get hold of the fs tommorow.

Part mouse-the last time I was TTC I had come off the Depo injection and bled a lot for several months, sometimes normal bleeding, sometimes spotting, but there was something pretty much every day and I did fall pregnant-my biggest problem was exhaustion and low iron, so maybe worth getting your iron levels checked out-won't help with the bleeding, but makes a huge difference to your energy levels :)

    Tea-how are you today?

    Welcome over Firefly x

Hello everyone & welcome to the newbies!

Thinking of you tea .. Be gentle with yourself x

Had our first adoption home visit today. The social worker (henceforth SW!) seems really lovely & was very chatty. Answered all our questions & asked a lot herself. We've lots to think about.. But are very excited at the prospects. She's booked us in for a 3 day adoption prep course in July. Once that's done the proper in-depth home visits (8, count them!!) start. Then lots of forms.. Then adoption panel. Then hopefully approval, & matching. SW says from now to panel will take about 8 months. Eeeek!

It's a perfect time if you think about it. If you have a baby you get the pregnancy to prepare yourself, practically and mentally, so it makes sense to have a similar time when adopting. Imagine how weird it would be if one day you're seeing the SW and the next day a child comes to live with you. Yikes.

All the luck in the world with the approval and matching. It's a roller coaster for sure. But immensely rewarding I think.

Gosh how exciting Onestep! Do you know what will happen during all of the home visits (8?!?!)? I'm really interested to hear how it all works and what they're looking for. :)

Hope you're doing OK Tea :)

    Morning ladies,

no change here. No pain, no bleeding, a few sort of little twinges but I think that's usual (especially with endo, there's always something going on in there!). Certainly nothing that would worry me if I hadn't done those stupid tests.

I think I have run out of things to read on the internet! Have searched every possible combination of lighter hpt, faint hpt, 5wk faint hpt, hook effect, hcg levels with twins, is this a chemical pg, why doesn't my hpt get darker... and so on....

There does seem to be a lot of posts from people who had this and it was all fine. Also a lot of posts from people who had lovely strong lines and then it went wrong. And of course posts from people who had faint lines and it didn't work out. So it really is just a waiting game... which I am now bored of. I will pay very good money to anyone who can build me a time machine and get me to that 7 wk scan (or 40wks, that would be good).

Hope everyone's doing ok today. Part mouse - good idea to get your iron levels checked, constant bleeding can't be good for keeping your energy levels up. Hope you hear from the FS soon x.

Part Mouse, I hope you're eating Iron rich foods. :) Dark chocolate is supposed to be somewhat iron rich too, good excuse to treat yourself. :)

Tea, I'll get to work on that time machine. :)

Tea I have everything crossed for you, my personal theory is you're just not somebody who's body metabolized HcG into your urine very well- there's ladies out there who have perfect little ones but never got a positive test til late on

Onestep please keep us updated with the adoption process, it would be great to hear how it actually works and good luck! Just think, your child/ren could be out there somewhere already, just waiting for you to be matched and give them a wonderful home. How magical x x
