if i were you i would go and have your holiday
one thing this life has taught me is make the most of the moment.
i once worked very hard, had 3 jobs to make ends meet and never had a holiday as home and family always came first.
Then 15 years ago i was diagnosed with MS and other health problems and my health deteriorated rapidly and now i am bedridden and very rarely go out.
i so wish i had done all the things i had wanted to, and been to the places i always dreamed of going.
Please make the most of whatever opportunities you have and enjoy your life to the fullest.
Life is too short believe me.0 -

That almost made me cry reading that so so true though..i am really sorry to hear of your health problems and hope you are coping and have some support. Our young neighbour has been diagnosed with an untreatable cancer and it really shook me up tbh, makes you think.0 -
Morning everyone.
Well here's the news, we are going on holiday. Hubby and I had an in depth discussion over the weekend and resolved all of our concerns. I have booked the flights and hire car and we depart in 8 weeks. Thank you all for your thoughts and comments they have been extremely helpful in identifying some issues we hadn't considered. So well done everyone, you're a great bunch.:T0 -
Hope you have a lovely time
you deserve it

You still need annual leave, even if you are self employed.
No one can work 52 weeks of the year.
Go on holiday.0
