thanks taxi ...we had origonally booked this holiday last december ...i have wanted to go since i was a child ...it is one of these weird things about me ...i feel it is important for everyone to go visit a place like auschwitz , rwanda , killing fields, yugoslavia, iraq, afghanistan etc (of which there are far too many) to remember all those that have died needlessley at the hands of fellow humans ...not to glorify in it but to pay my respects in my way...

this is the first time since thailand nearly two years ago that we have been abroad and it was meant to be just four days ...but i think it couldnt have came at a better time to be honest ...

ok have transferred over £400 to son's account so that he can move in ten days time ...he will have me paid back by the end of october at the latest...i have a written agreement to this effect ...and funny as it may sound i know he is good for his word ...when he has borrowed any money from his gran or myself before he has always paid it back ...he insisted on the agreement to try and apease his dad ...who really isnt taking this full thing good at all ...so that is the last of the debt i should be getting myself into and it will be cleared by the end of october (just wish all my debt was) i managed to up my overdraft by the £400 easily it actually said you have a further £1100(taking me up another £1500) you can access ...no wonder people are getting into debt so easily...i resisted and i can assure you as soon as i am able it will be away never to retuen ...i am however glad that i was able to help him out at this time ...

right bed for me i have another busy day tomorrow ...got free tickets to the homes and leisure exhibition in glasgow if anybody fancies a pair ...worth £10 each...let me know by p.m i can arrange to meet up wnd give you them

Great that you can help your son and it is basically sorted now so that's great news.
It must be very humbling going to those places as well..I visited the war graves in France a lot of years ago. It's terrible what other humans do to one another.

That doesn't sound too bad at all, El ... I know what you mean about respects... I was in Crete when the first Gulf War was on, and we went to a war graves cemetery there, I was in tears.
