DD was making plans for Uni next year, which includes me batch cooking and whatnot..i said it never gets to the freezer and if her dad finds it first, then there will be none at all.:rotfl::rotfl:

You will have to get Mr.El his ingredients for Chinese cookery to take his mind off things and then you will all have happy tums and keep feeding DS then he can't argue.Everytime he opens his mouth, stuff a spring roll in:D:rotfl:
Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

we are going to krakow kc ...have got a book on it but there doesnt seem like much to do ...we were planning in travelling a bit but i dont know if i will be able to now with things the way they are (need to try and save money incase son needs to borrow it) have you ever been? can you recommend things to do ...we were origonally planning on just 4 days but ryan air cancelled the flights on us so we had to re book and in rebooking we landed up having to go for 7 nights which cost us £600 more (flights extra and accomadation) which was our spending money for four days ...now i am trying to go for a week on just over £500:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:i like a challenge me :rotfl:

the things i am insisting on doing are auschwitz (the reason we are going) and the salt mines ...the hotel we are staying in have a swimming pool and sauna so i think hubby and i will be availing ourselves of that fairly often to try and save money

I've never been to Poland - nearest I've been to Eastern Europe is in Austria, 3k from the Hungarian border ... and passing through Yugoslavia on the train on the way to Greece.

The salt mines sound fantastic, you *have* to go there. Auschwitz too, tho of course I wouldn't describe it as fantastic. As well as being an SF nut, I'm a flight nut, so I'd go to the Aviation Museum. I'd always go to the castle and the cathedral (website says its the spiritual home of the nation, sounds quite a big deal). Kazimierz sounds like the old Jewish quarter, which was probably turned into the ghetto - you'll have to take a *lot* of tissues if you go there as well as Auschwitz. Oh my god, and I've just seen that Oskar Schindler's factory is being re-opened in late autumn as a museum, there's an introductory show in September tho. The Dachsund Parade on September 6th sounds really funny, will you be there then? I'd probably go to a concert so I could soak up the ambience of the hall.

I want to go to Poland now!
