That doesn't sound too bad at all, El ... I know what you mean about respects... I was in Crete when the first Gulf War was on, and we went to a war graves cemetery there, I was in tears.

i remember when hubby and i were in thailand we went to a war grave i honestly thought before i went i would be fine ...wouldnt be affected as i dont have any friends relatives etc that have been involved in war of any kind ...then i came across a grave of a 17 year old boy from lanarkshire (where i am from) and it hit me like a tidal wave ...my son was 16 at the time and i just thought he has not lived yet ...neither has this 17 year old that was transported to the other side of the world and suffered goodness only knows what ...and it really hit home...i stood mesmized to the spot imagining what kindve life this boy had had and what kindve a life he couldve had ...i imagined where he grew up his school etc ....

it is just something that has been important to me since i was a wee girl ...i am not just going for the jewish population that were killed (although i do feel heart sorry for them) but for the russians the gypsies the british the german the africans the list is endless so humanity really ...i dont know why as a child i felt it was something that was very important to me but this feeling has never left me

anyway enough depression this thread has went way down hill recently ...right banking done ...now i need to sit with a pen and a piece of paper to figure out exactly what is happening with son etc as i got the extra in my wage that will go to help and also have had to increase the over draft ...(this has now came back off as i got paid today) but i need to figure out exactly how much i need to sort it out ...i landed up being £3.47 overdrawn on my overdraft so i might get a charge but i hope not ...i transferred the money late last night and a d.d.m came out this morning but i transferred over the money over this morning so it was overdrawn for a few hours ...will phone the bank and check i think ...

scratchies done (10P) quidco clicks done and another two square coloured in ...i am loving these squares it is really helping me stay focussed ...i feel as if i am getting on top of things ...ok i know i have just added £400 to the pile but i know it will get sorted soon ...

jinky have started to read that thread ...hilarious and very typical of sp

Oh dear El is writing deep and moving stuff and I just posted to say thanks to Jinky - nearly cried laughing at that! Do you think he's real or a comedian testing out character material on everyone....

Can you tax your car online? You don't need the MOT certificate for that.

Why have you been driving illegally? Do you not have a current MOT at all?
