Can you tax it online as you don't show the documents and maybe the garage gave your MOT to somebody else...so you may not be driving illegally.
    What did garage say?

So....get on at the garage first thing in the morning and get them to issue the MOT cert first thing. Then you can go to the PO or tax it online, and you will be in time to drive over the weekend and ready to go away on holiday.

Hassle, definitely, but it will hopefully get done.

Sorry your son didn't get the house he was after - did the credit check show up that he wasn't in full time work?

That is absolutely disgusting...I don't know what recourse you have...I just though that you'd took your car for a MOT as probably others had that day and he just gave each of you eah others MOT..meaning that you both had one written out ...sounds like a right cowboy outfit.
