I get the sense that you feel in a total whirl with all thats happened over the past few days.
Do you get much time to yourself, sounds like you need some calm space, there are a lot of peoples needs competing here, and you shouldnt neglect your ownCan you get out for walks, feed the ducks or something on your own or find another way to find some calm away from this crowded situation? xx

it really is such a hard thing to get right ...we all want the best for our kids so we bring them up the best way we can...but then sheltering them from it all is that the answer? i dont know ...our son has had a sheltered life ...we have always tried to ensure his saftey and enjoyment and fun was paramount to all considerations as a family ...we have had so many boys living here with us over the years (as well as the nephew who lived here for 10 years) that are friends with our son because their families were having issues ...the boy that is currently here was a goo friend with our son when he was younger ...he used to come over wearing trousers that were way way too big for him tied with rope and holey ...we would say you had any dinner son his reply would be yes i would say what and the reply to that was a packet of biscuits ..so we would feed him and clothe him saying it was our sons old stuff (as you do) and take them away on holiday ...yes it was mainly for our son...so that he could have friends... but it was also for the boys ...we saw the kinda up bringing they were having ... never through their fault.... sometimes through their parents (drink) or sometimes through finances...having 4 or 5 kids etc ... so as a parent you always try to do your best ...try to tell them who they should avoid ...and the ones that are good kids but maybe not having the best start you help as best you can ...i dont have any regrets about that ...but i spose in a way if we hadnt done this and if we had let our kid hang about the street corners etc then he wouldve been much more street wise and maybe this scenario might not have happened ...but i doubt it0 -
Here you go - :coffee: + (((((El))))) for you. You are doing great and good news that he is taking the initiative himself - sounds like you've done a good job with him.0
