I am like you Confuzzled, with the right amount of education and nurturing I don't think it should an issue.
Love that huge cheesey grin emoticon...and a proud Auntie you should be, he sounds a little smasher.
I have just been reading that if you put a wooden spoon under your bed and tie a ribbon around it (pink for a girl/blue for a boy) you will fall pregnant with a baby of that sex within three months of doing it.
Not that I believe everything I read..ho hum... but it will be a bit of fun, so I am putting a wooden spoon under my bed with a pink ribbon on it - (I already have a son...but would love either a girl or a boy.)
I will let you know if it works lol.
Love & baby dust to y'all. x x:whistle: Whistle while you work...0 -
My my, want a busy thread this has become
I've had a big sleep this morning and feel much better now
My brother hs come over onhis day off and is painting the banisters for me
PMA restored I reckon
:rotfl:
Someone asked about my year 11s - yes, they do their real GCSE in the first week of November. Our school does early entry so in theory they can redo it while they're still at school if they need to.
Regarding the June/July baby debate, I've given this a lot of thought and actually my broodiness is so strong and there are no guarantees in any of this that we're going for it now and if we have a young for year group baby then so be it. The only thing that makes me hesitate slightly (mse alert :money:) is that as a teacher I get a 6 week summer hol on full pay, plus 6 weeks mat leave on full pay before it goes down to 90% pay for about another 18 weeks or summat. If I had a baby in July it'd mean not getting as much money as I coud potentially get if I had a baby in Sept/Oct where I could have my summer break THEN start ML.
Does that make senseUpdating soon...0 -
I'm a June baby (27th) and never had a problem with it. In fact I think it's great as I've always had sunny weather on my bday:j
My issue with having baby due June/July next year is the World Cup. I asked DH if he's alright choosing birth of a baby over a footie match;):D
Well it looks like I might have to test early (what a shame:rolleyes:) as I might have to go dentist as I think a bit of tooth came out when eating a cookie:eek: I know they like to know if you're PG because of x-rays etc.
Hmmmm.... those FR ones can be done at any time of day. I need a wee now;)
I'm quite sure I'm not going to get a BFP but if I'm not around for a bit it's because I'm in shock!
EDIT: Not in shock. Off to make appointment at dentistBLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120 -

my mum always remembers tho, as does my OH, i'd kill him if he forgot lol
i do remember tho, my mum baking a fruit cake for my birthday, and covering it with royal icing and candles, when i was younger, at teh time i never realised it was a xmas cake heheenjoy life, we only get one chance at it:)0 -
Oh confuzzled and shaz! How rubbish that people miss your birthday like that! Mine often falls on Easter and I remember as a child getting an Easter egg for my birthday and being distinctly unimpressed, but that pales in comparison!
Just been to the nurse for my Hep A booster and bled everywhere, she called me a bleederThen on my way home had to walk through a film set to get back into my building! Seems they're filming a new series of Lewis, and they like to use a college by my work as a back drop/set. They'd covered the road with smoke from a smoke machine and I couldn't see a blimming thing! Then all the cameras were in the gateway to my building and I had to just march through. Blighters
Maybe you'll see a bleeding frowning woman in a brown jacket marching in the background in that episode! :rotfl:Never argue with an idiot, he just brings you down to his level and beats you with experience.0 -
or they wrote happy birthday too, inside off xmas cards.

I remember when I was 8 I really really wanted the talking Baby Sinclair from 'Dinosaurs' so my aunt said she'd get it:T well she did, but she also got my grandparents and her siblings(except my dad!) to chip in for it...thats ok I hear you say...not when the thing is £15 and thats spilt between 2grandparents and 4 siblings:mad::mad::mad: Less than a fiver each:eek::eek:
Oh and just remembered, they did the same for my 21st...although this time the necklace(which I've never worn as it's the tackiest thing EVER!) was about £30 to be fair:rolleyes::rolleyes:
Needless to say we have very little to do with my Dads family!
Oooo all the repressed feelings about my birthday are coming out now:o:rotfl:1.11.09 - debt = £45k:eek:
