Trying For a Baby III

Ah Twinklie, do you fancy a nearly 13 year old border collie who's not quite the full ticket mentally! :rotfl:Only joking she is lovely really but not a dog I would choose (she is dh's). I have to say he is desperate to get another dog but I'm in no rush. They are just such an incredible tie! Even doing simple things like going out for the day we have to think about what we're going to do. At least you can take babies with you everywhere! When we were on holiday in Wales dh wanted to go into a castle so I had to stay outside with her because it was too hot to leave her in the car!
I've had a very productive day cleaning! Because we've been doing diy nearly every weekend for the past 3 years the house hasn't really been in a "finished" state to do proper cleaning! So now it is I have been dusting, polishing and hoovering anything that doesn't move! God it feels so nice to have a lovely clean house now!
I finally got a high on my cbfm this morning on CD15 so hopefully won't be too long before ov.0 -
cd 25 here today, and while out shopping bought the bogof fr in boots. couldnt resist testing and got bfnenjoy life, we only get one chance at it:)0

I tested today too and got a BFN. Period isn't due until tomorrow but could resist as I'm only using ebay cheapies.
I've done really well this month at not thinking about it all too much, but now its the weekend and AF is due so soon its really really hard
I'm feeling shattered but I think thats because I'm coming down with a cold. As with every month I'm having all sorts of symptons which could be pg symptoms or could just be AF symptoms.
I just really want it to be my turn to be happy, feel like I've waited long enough despite the fact that its only my 4th try.
Hopefully PMA will return soon!Proud to be a moneysaver! :cool:0 -
Ah Maddie Hugs to you! It does get easier I promise! We all have months where hopes have been higher and then reality hits! I've been here 2 1/2 years this month and can honestly say most of the time now I find it alot easier I guess because I'm so used to af arriving every month I expect it to more than not if that makes sense. I think I'll be in total shock if we do ever get a bfp!
Bitzer we have wooden floors all of downstairs and hubby says without fail every single day "god look at those scratches" from the dog! It drives me utterly insane! He needs to chill and just accept we have a dog and she will scratch the floor. He chose the carpet on the stairs and upstairs and let me tell you never will he be allowed to make that decision again! I had to relent as I'd had my way on everything else. He wanted cheap carpet and biy does he regret it now! It's an absoloute nightmare to hoover and always looks grubby so he'slearned his lesson.0 -
Maddie and Shazrobo: try not to let it get you down; we've all been there and it is gutting but you have to just go with the flow unfortunately. The best thing to do is not obsess about it, far far easier said than done I know. Rant away on here though if needed; that's what it's for and we all know what it's like to be in your shoes. Hopefully that is some consolation to you.x
Twinklie; still can't believe you'll be leaving us soon. I so want a dog too. Mine died about 2 years ago and she was such a good girl. It's on days like this, v windy but dry, that I used to love going up to the moors with her. Without a dog it's too easy to sit on your backside and watch a film on telly!I do agree with becs though, they are such a tie and when it's throwing it down after a ghastly day at work talking fido for a walk in the park is nowhere near as appealing. We've got a cat now so a dog is out of the question as she just would not take to it in the slightest; she is v skittish.
I seriously tempted to invest in a CBFM; I've got one more months worth of OV sticks and if they don't 'work' then I think I'll bite the bullet; hopefully by then my house will finally be sold so will have a wodge of extra cash to spend/save (delete as applicable!)
Enjoy the rest of the Saturday and to BamNaggy; Im also looking forward to X factor although I really can't see the point of Sinitta! I know she is Simon's friend but really, who is she!!!!!!!!!

Thanks becs. I think if AF hits I'll prob just be looking forward to trying again and the fact that I can carry on temping with a previous month to compare too.
It just annoys me feeling poorly without a positive reason for it. I've got that feeling that you need to throw up, but know you're not actually going to. I know its a normal AF symptom for me but wish it could be a sign of something else.
Sorry for ssing! Right - I'm going to put todays temp into FF then try really hard not to think about this until tommorrow's FMU!Proud to be a moneysaver! :cool:0 -
I want a dog again now I'm not ttc. I always did but it didn't bother me so much when we were ttc. I miss not having a dog soooooo much.
I don't think I could live without a dog by my side! I've got two here, and one is poorly just now, the vet thinks he has a tumour in his shoulder muscle, the pain is being controlled just now but there is going to come a point where we have to make a decision about this, he also has an underactive pancreas! They keep me sane particularly when I'm having a bad day, they know when I need hugs!!:D

Ah Catw0man I know what you mean. As much as she is a tie I do love her to bits even though she really is a daddy's girl! SHe was very nervous of people when he first moved in with me and she came too. It took her 6 weeks of living with me for her to even let me touch her. 4 years later and now she's still a bit wary of new people just coming straight up to but at least she doesn't try and have their hand off now! She only takes a few seconds to accept them now and then she won't leave them alone for wanting fuss! We were at my brothers in scotland last xmas and my mum and dad took her for a walk at one of the nearby mountains with my brother and sister in law and their dog. They let her off the lead and she saw a man who she thought was dh and went running toward him but it wasn't so she panicked after realising dh wasn't there and ran away. We spent the whole of boxing day walking round looking for her. We went back to brothers at 5ish in the dark and I was devastated, I was sobbing away and my sister in law ran out the door to say they'd just had a phonecall from a lady who'd got her and my brother had just gone to fetch her! The relief was incredible, they are such a big part of your life. And as you say they know when you need hugs!0
