Hi Bam; I'm 37 and OH is 36 and we've been actively TTC for about 5 months now. It's our first attempt and neither of us has experienced pregnancy before so it's very much uncharted territory!

moneysaver12 - the stress of starting uni is a likely cause for mucking with your cycles, hopefully next month you'll be more settled and it'll go back to normal
Overcast skies here, only just dragged myself out of my pit after rolling in past 2amDon't do that very often so figure I'm allowed (though I did wake up to temp at the correct time and peed on my cbfm stick - think I can do these things in my sleep now!)
Bam-OH and I are both 28 and we've been trying for 7 months, though for me that's like, 8 cycles. So not that long into it really, should ov on tuesday so fingers (but not legs) crossed here we catch it :rotfl:Never argue with an idiot, he just brings you down to his level and beats you with experience.0 -
Afternoon ladies :hello:
Had a busy couple of days doing wedding related stuff (3 weeks to go! :T). Met the photographer again this morning who took some (hopefully) lovely pre-wedding photos. DS was a pain in the rear, definitely moving into pre-teenage stage with himbut other than that it was a lovely morning. Wondered if I was oving last night, had had some stomach ache and felt very, er, rude (but had a headache so actually did just turn over and go to sleep!) Anyway, test said I wasn't and it is actually far too early (I'm about CD 7 I reckon) so not sure what all that was about.
Bam - I'm 33, H2b is 34, I have a not so dear right now DS who's 11. We started ttc in May, I got a BFP in June, found out it was twins in July then mc a few days later. Started again this time last week after very half-heartedly taking the pill again for a bit and am really bouyant and upbeat and really looking forward to getting another BFP. Think even just a few weeks ago a BFP would've terrified me because of what happened last time and there are times still that a real sadness washes over me and I find myself replaying events in my mind but overall I feel much better. Sorry, that wasn't what you asked was it!
Right, still a bit poorly so am gonna have a sleep on the sofa for an hour or so before tackling some year 11 exam marking, groan

For those who have had mc... was your first AF after not normal???
AF visited 29 days after mc (no idea what usual cycle length is though as I became pg very quickly after coming off pill). It was physically very very painful and so heavy to the point where it because upsetting seeing that amount of blood. I also found it extremely difficult to keep clean, the sheets needed washing, had to change my trousers everyday as I'd leaked on them. All in all it was pretty unpleasant. So, no not normal in any way.
