when me an OH was talking about whether we would prefer a girl or boy, i said just one please, i seeing having twins as unlucky lol. love them to bits, but with them both having special needs, they are hard work.
please god, let me have one healthy one next time.
by the way dont think we got lucky this month, all the symptoms i was feeling have gone, and today i've been mega hungry, and eaten loads, typical for me week before af dueenjoy life, we only get one chance at it:)0 -
Evening all. haven't read back as running out of time at the mo but will do and then catch up properly. I did manage to notice that there are a few newbies so big welcome to you all and good luck.
Confuzzled: AF turned up for me today so you can cross me off the list; slightly gutted but was kinda expecting it. Onwards and upwards and all that jazz!

Deep breath...... I've lurked on here for a long time. DH & I said we would start trying after the wedding although we got cold feet a bit and didn't really "try". Don't get me wrong, we both really want this it's just really really scary when it comes down to it isn't it? Plus, my boss has just had a BFP (I was there - I was jealous lol) and with only 5 of us in the office, the timing couldn't be worse.
After a "discussion" with a friend the other night though who said if we're not using contraception, we're trying, i've decided to join in with you guys lol.
So, i'm on CD 19 I think. I think, because I was always 28 days but the few months before the wedding, I went to 24 days, probably due to stress, so i'm still going with 24 days until I know different.
DH & I accidentally BD'd for all we were worth on my most fertile days this month - genuinely an accident (due to the still cold feet) and I only realised when I went to check when we shouldn't and.....oops
You'll all go mad at me here because i'm still smoking (I promise i'll give up) but every cigarette i've had over the last few days has made me feel ill. Maybe because this is our first month of no contraception AND we BD'd on the right days (albeit accidentally lol) but isn't it easy to read something into every little niggle?
So...... AF is due somewhere between the 7th Oct (24 days) and 11th Oct (28 days) Not sure where that would put my testing date but I don't want to do it too early.
Nichart - you were my date twin on the weddings board (until you changed your date lol) good to see a familiar face over here too. We're almost cycle buddies too lol. Hope you're keeping well.
Wow - what an essay lol. So i'll say bye for now and lots of sticky babydust to you all (see, i've almost got the lingo down already lol)
SK xxxAfter 4 years of heartache, 3 rounds of IVF and 1 loss :A - we are finally expecting our miracle Ki11en - May 2014 :j
And a VERY surprise miracle in March 2017!0 -
sexki11en; I promise I won't have a go at you because I'm exactly the same:eek:. I smoke and have tried to give up but it is soooo difficult. Excuse alert-I've had a rough time lately so giving up just wasn't an option. Like you, when (not if!) I get my BFP I'll give up immediately. Seeing as we're TTC I'm kinda justifying it to myself by virtue of the fact that I'll know pretty much immediately if I am PG so the damage is limited. It goes without saying that I'd give up straightaway then.
I know it's bad and I also expect some flak and perhaps deservedly so.

Awwww bless you Elliebobs. I was expecting lots of flak for admitting that but I guess there must be more of us out there. In MY defence I gues we're not admitting even to ourselves that we *might* be TTC (I know DH is having a sneaky look at my post on the other computer as I type lol) Like you though I WILL give up the second I know i'm PG - no question.

Well, I'm still off sick and begining to feel really low about it. I'm supposed to be going shopping tomorrow with my mum and sister for their wedding outfits and have got a photo session with the photographer on Sunday morning. I'm reaaly worried because I'm not even pg yet and I've had all this time off work, what happens if I get poorly when I'm pg and need even more time off. My year 7s and 8s were supposed to be doing tests this week and I need to input the data from these tests by Tuesday, as it is they won't even have done them by then as I won't see them. I've got so much to do and it all feels like it's piling on top of me.
Sorry, not ttc related at all but just feel really carpy, been awake on and off since 4.30 worrying about it allUpdating soon...0 -
(((HUGS))) Courgette
I know it's easier said than done but try to chill out in front of the tv or read a book/mag for a bit
I hope you start feeling better soon xBLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120 -
Courgette ((((hugs to you))))
I can understand your pressure (i'm a fellow term timer, not a teacher but close enough) Try not to worry too much, if you're sick you're sick, you're no good to anyone when you're not at your best.
Get yourself well lady x0
