Trying For a Baby III

help, having a really bad day today. Have been feeling down the past few days and today is worse, am sitting here at work trying to calm myself down before I jump in the car to drive home.
I feel so sad and angry that I've lost two babies this year - I just want to scream 'it's so unfair' - I know, not very grown up. thought I was doing fine as its been 6 weeks since the last mc but all the emotions are coming flooding back.
and then i did the stupid thing of checking facebook as I've not been on there for over a week and my friends have been posting up recent pics of their new little ones. three of my closest friends have had babies this year, two of them in April when I had my first mc and the third at the end of July and my best friend is expecting twins in Feb. she got pg on her first try and is due three weeks before what should have been my due date - today is not a good day
Sending some hugs hun.Married 09/09/090 -
Hello all :blushing:
I hope you don't mind me joining your TTC thread...as from this month me (37) and OH (39) are trying for a baby.
I have an 18 year old son by my first marriage and my DP has no other children. After 8 years together we have decided to try for a family, we are financially okayish...however don't want to leave it too much longer due to our ages.
I am hoping to have an Old Style/Money Saving baby...as we can't afford to waste money but have oodles of time, love, care and attention to give.
I look forward to "trying" with you all, lol...if that is the right thing to say...you seem like a lovely friendly bunch.
So good luck all, baby dust ahoy.

Rik, so sorry to hear of what you're going through, big hugs to you (((()))
Bam welcome, i'm new here too.:D
I take my last pill tonight so i've baked some biscuits to celebrate wooooo :T0 -
(((Rik))), I'm so sorry you're feeling so awful; I don't really know what to say. You do sound like you blame yourself a little bit: please don't. Mc is horrendous and I can't imagine how difficult two in a year must be. Try to take it easy for the next few days, easier said than done I know xxxUpdating soon...0

Welcome Bam! Our yet to be conceived child will be at least 12 years younger than my DS; let's start our very own 'massive age gap between kids' thread when we get there! :T
Well, after feeling thoroughly fed up with being ill and still feeling dizzy and really vulnerable when I did anything that involved moving I went back to the docs this afternoon. I saw another one who didn't even discuss the mc/heavy AF/anthing else hormone related as a cause of me keeping on falling over and after about 10 mins of blood pressure checks etc etc diagnosed an ear infection! He's given me some tablets and I think I'm even begining to feel better already. Obviously I'm really pleased that I don't have any kind of post-mc complication but :mad::mad: ear infection is the first thing tht comes up on google and I've just taken 3.5 days off work and thought the worst. I probably won't be fit to go back tomorrow but if I'd had these tablets on Monday when I first went I'd be well on the mend by now . My year 11s do their GCSE in 5 weeks and I'm going back to a mountain of marking, I'm really cross!Updating soon...0 -
Hello Casey, fellow newbie and soon to be expectant mummy (fingers crossed), thank you for the warm welcome. x x
Great idea Courgette. I am glad you're having an age gap baby...I thought I might be the only one. I hope I haven't forgotten how to do everything lol...I am used to curfews, loud music and driving lessons now as opposed to nappies, colouring in and putting a mince pie out for father Christmas...ahhhh I can't wait.
OH is poorly tonight so I don't think much will be happening this evening...unless of course I am really mercenary and insist. Whistle while you work...0 -
