Morning everyone, hope we're all well.

Currently watching This Morning while I'm knitting up my first big project and I had to put my needles down and grab the tissues.

There was a lady on who gave birth at 21 weeks and 5 days and the doctors did NOTHING to save him, they just left him to die. They said if he was still alive in 48 hours then they would help him. I am absolutely disgusted by this as he was breathing for 2 hours after he was born

  • Hi all, CD12 for me and I've been getting lots of random twinges in my stomach - unfortunately I can't remember if this was totally normal (prior to being pg/mc) for me or not !!! So assuming it was indeed an af that I had earlier this month (wasn't much in the way of flow and was generally a very faint pink on wiping :o), I've still got 2 1/2 weeks to go before af is due again (so not even in the 2WW ).

As for Xmas, I have a huge list of stuff I'm knitting for all the kids in DH family (14 ), I've even had to book a few long weekends :D to that I can concentrate on it as I'm starting to panic about it all :o.

As usual :grouphug: to everyone that needs them.

 hello and welcome to all the newbies.

and fingers crossed (can't find an icon for that) to those due to test.

Hi Nunny, nice to 'see' you. Hows things?

That story is soooo sad:( Surely the fact he was breathing on his own for 2 hours would've told the docs something!!!!!!!! Must've been awful for the family, especially knowing in the back of your mind that if he was full term and not breathing when he was born they'd have done everything they could:mad::mad::mad::mad:

  • On the illogical nature of TTC, I also don't like buying tests (of any kind) in case I am jinking it. last time I bought a test AF showed within a few hrs (4 days late). The following month I used the test (4 days late) and AF arrived the next day.

As soon as I decided to wait a week before considering testing AF arrived promptly on time with no symptoms - and done that for the past 3 months! So my normally logical brain, has taken that as a SIGN!!

LilDevil - what are you knitting?

My only problem with Shopping early for Christmas is I tend to use the stuff I have bought. Last year I bought some Jamican Rum chocolate for my mum and had it wrapped and put in her stocking by the middle of October. Unfortunately I got a bit peckish so ended up un-wrapping it and eating it:p I don't buy food until the last minute now!

I'm afraid you're all going to have to put up with me for a bit longer. I've continued to have small amounts of bleeding until a few hours ago when it's here in full force, although I knew it was all over this morning when I took a test and the line had got fainter. I'm obviously feeling pretty rubbish, but I've seen my parents and talked to my closest friends which has really helped.
Thankyou for your thoughts and support this last couple of days, it's really meant a lot to me.

Gena, I am so so so sorry to hear this (((Hugs)))

That's what I wondered, although not really on either side, more in the middle! I don't think it's early pg signs as when I had those before, I felt more like i'd done one too many sit-ups :D

Ooohh, tons of stuff, mainly toys, a mouse circus, Noah's Ark, Jemima Puddleduck, Tom Kitten, Peter Rabbit, handbags, a tablecloth, to name a few. Some of the stuff I've done over the years (and some already done for this year) are on here: http://www.freewebs.com/angie01/

Aw thank you, I love Alan Dart designs, the mouse circus is shown on his website www.alandart.co.uk - he is one talented man - aparently he designs them all in his head before actually working out the patterns.
