What project are you working on (I'm a knitter myself, so am always nosy about what other people are doing - there's a website called ravelry.com that you can list all your projects/yarns etc on - not to mention a huge pattern database!)

I didn't see the story (at work) on This Morning but it sounds horrific, I think I'd be sobbing uncontrollably too.

Hi Lildevil, I've JUST finished one of these Superman Swatch in a lilac yarn and it it lovely. I'm contemplating making a bigger one but not sure how to!!:o

I'm hopeless at altering patterns - maybe just add a few extra stitches at each end after the border and a couple of extra rows at the top/bottom - I think that's what I've always done in the past.

I've done loads of squares over the last few months for various things - I've got a baby blanket on the go (baby nearly 1yr old now!!) and I'm participating in a square swap to make a Ron Weasley blanket from the Harry Potter films - the squares I've done are on my blog page mentioned on the previous page (or even the one before that!) - they're generally around 9"x9". There's also someone on Ravelry that has some lovely Harry Potter crochet squares that are bigger if you're into that sort of thing!!

  • Why are their always cute babies around, especially in 2ww?!!

I'm back from my holiday, had a bit of a stressful time to be honest - OH got flu, which he then passed to me. As soon as I shook that morning sickness arrived, then I got such bad food poisoning that I ended up in hospital on out last day hooked up to an IV. How is everyone here doing?
