Just need somewhere to say this: suddenly I have hit a wall with the waiting til we ttc until after the wedding. I mc'ed at 7 weeks in July and thought the best thing would be to go back on the pill as I don't want anything at all to spoil the wedding. Suddenly though not being pg or ttc hurts really badly. I should have been 15 weeks now, over the exhaustion and nausea and having a nice little bump. I can't remember anymore why we're waiting. Taking the pill the last coupe of days has felt like poisening my body and it's literally got caught in my throat and has taken some swallowing.
    Updating soon...

Oh corgette bless you. Have you talked to DF about how you feel? Would it hurt less to stop the pill and let nature be?

Enjoy this time before your wedding, it should be exciting and fun.

Hello ladies, thankyou again for all your kind thoughts, you really are a wonderful lot.:A
I've felt a little better today, I guess time will do it's work. I've really struggled with this, even though it was so early it's my 2nd mc and so I can't stop the thoughts of whether there's something wrong. I went to the doctors today, I didn't expect them to do anything but I want it on my record just in case.

Smartie - sorry to read your news, (((hugs))) to you - I confess I wondered a couple of days ago about you as it seemed to happen in the same way for us both. Here's hoping you (and many more) have that wonderful Christmas news.

Hello Rik1978 - sorry to read your sad story, take the time you need to grieve, you'll know when you're ready to try again, in the meantime stick around.

Moneyangel - sorry I'm afraid I can't help, haven't experienced what you're going through, I hope you get some answers soon. When was AF due i.e. how late are you? It can take a few days for the hcg to show up, but I think everyone is a little different as are the tests. My very faint line appeared about 20dpo on an internet cheapy test. Try not to worry (easy for me to say:o).

Courgette - the grief from your mc is likely you to affect you at unexpected times, let it, it's natural and letting it out will help. I'm glad you posted on here. If the pill is making you feel like that then stop taking it, you can always use condoms until you're ready for ttc again.

Twinklie - bless you, your post was really lovely, thanks honey.

Much love and lots of sticky babydust to everyone xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

You just have to get over the squeamishness of it, which, lets face it girls, sticking your finger up your chuff is the least of the indignities that will happen to you and your chuff once you get pg.... :rotfl:
:rotfl::rotfl:How close to Manchester are you then?!?!?! The only place I've heard anyone say that is back home, the 1st time I said it to DH he looked at me with an almost blank yet repulsed expresssion:rotfl::rotfl:

WARNING! Long post. totally off topic... sorry guys but trying to take my mind off POAS testing due on Thurs!!

Re Xmas: well I am off to a good start. I don't have a load of people to buy for and I did a bit of Boots sale shopping in Jan which is all in the loft so I'll have to go through it to see what I need. My aunt loves royal jelly so I always get her a set in the sale!

MIL is always a problem. One year I bought her a £60 lux robe from john lewis (it came in a box too!) which was all soft and gorge. she spends a lot of time in her robe so I thought it was a good buy. Someone else got her a thin pink one with a hood that had a zip from ankle to neck - really cheap and horrible... she told us to take ours back. (I keep it in my guest room though).

However, this year I have won a pile of mills and boons books (including one from the saucy blaze collection) so I bought some lovely pink ribbon to tie them in a stack. I also won a cat jigsaw from ravensburger, they are really expensive to buy. She hates cats but loves jigsaws so that ones a bit of a mixed bag lol!! (I won another cat one from them too but in a different design so will save that for next year). So they are the red herring presents really as I have a 'star prize' in mind.

Also, she keeps saying she wants a laptop. Now my friend is selling her nearly new pc for £70 and will chuck in the printer and desk too so I think we will get her that too. Her daugter (my SIL) already pays for broadband in their house so that would work out well except MIL doesn't know how to use a computer :rotfl: and dh says it will be a pain 'cos she will need lessons and will keep breaking it...

She once sat for hours in her front room thinking the tv wasn't working. When DH got there she told him and he pressed the on off button and it came on. She usually leaves it on standby and didn't think to try that. Oh dear!

Now I know it seems a lot to spend, but she really does not have a lot and we always give her our cast offs (car, kitchen appliances, tools - you name it! Oh and we paid for her and her mate to go to mexico last year for our wedding... she would never have been able to afford it) and whilst we don't always see eye to eye on things and I will probably never be good enough to be with her son, she was better with me since we got married (after 10 years together ) I appreciate she has had a hard life and has little fun so do like to treat her.

    Over and out.

Sorry for the Huuuuge post but you did ask :rotfl:

    Katy x
Sorry I asked now:rolleyes::p Your MIL should really start appreciating you a lot more, I don't do half that stuff for my MIL yet I still can't do any wrong:A Apparently I'm the daughter she never had:D:D BILs ex wasn't too happy when she heard about it:rotfl::rotfl:

Those who are having probs (((HUGS))) and everyone dealing with a mc...it's bloody hard:( I'd have been 6months this week:( And it does come in waves, I console myself by saying it's natures way of saying that something wasn't right, will have to find the post about angels.....really helped me a lot at the time:)

    Hi All
The testing list you do - I assume this is when you have DTD during Ov time and think you may be Pg so you plan the earliest date you can test?

    Is that right?
    xx Thanks xx

Pretty Much:) Although my testing date is usually a week after AF is due, started this coz I find AF showing is a lot less painful than seeing a BFN:rolleyes:

  • Hi Everyone,

Hope it is okay to join in. Have been following for a couple of weeks just haven't said anything yet.

Hubby and I have decided nows the time to start trying. Am very excited by it all but we aren't telling anyone so thought this would be a nice place to come and talk if thats ok.

At the end of AF right now so looking forward to my first month of trying :j

Hugs and luck to you all.

  • Morning all,

MRs_Tradition I do the same as confuzzled for testing, I leave it a week after AF is due before I think of testing. That way I don't get as upset with AF showing as I do with a BFN, its also cheaper as you aren't wasting any tests, and I also feel that by testing I am encouraging AF to show (not logical I know).

Well its CD28 for me, so am on the Witch waiting game. On a different note, I am also starting to plan for Christmas. Have ordered 5 pressies from Avon for stocking fillers - 5 for £5 - bargin. May have to keep 1 or 2 items for myself! ;)

Hugs to those that need them.
And sticky baby dust to the rest of you x

    oh, and welcome giddynici.
