    thanks all
will it alter my entire cycle length or just ovulation?

Not sure to be honest, for some people its both, but if you decrease your cycle length you decrease your ov date as it should still be ~14 days after ov, if you know what I mean?

the length after ov is your luteal phase right? Mine has been recording as sub 10 days which is considered defective so Ive been taking vit b6 to increase it....

Yep thats right, in order you have: menses (period), follicular phase, ovulation then luteal phase. I've been taking agnus castus and B6, its got my LP up to 12 days last month :j which is fine by me! These things seem to work over time though, so you have to keep going for a few months to see a difference. xx

  • It alters the length of your cycle by altering the phase before OV - your LP stays the same I think (Unless you're taking something to work on that too obv, I also took b6 as I was borderline with a 10 day LP) I got mine from Holland and Barratt, much cheaper than Boots!

And yes, still posting from holiday - it's morning here though, and I've been feeling very rough in the mornings lately so I'm not rushing about early on!
  • I'm out this month  26 day cycle compared to the 30 last month
  • SuzyP; I was the same last month; it was something stupid like 23 days! proper pi55es you off doesn't it; blimmin' bodies behaving badly!

Onwards and upwards for next month though.:D

I second H&B too-Boots don't do *high* doses of things, well not in ones near me they don't anyway.

And I'll let you off the posting here while on your hols seeing as how you're pg-that's a very good excuse to have a lazy morning online ;)

  • Morning all, not a lot to report here, CD9 for me (is it really only CD9 ), and not a lot going on. Off to Brize Norton later so DH can take pictures of planes. I'll be taking my knitting, I'm making a mouse circus for DSDs Xmas).

Hugs to anyone that needs them.

    Fingers crossed for anyone testing.

And toes crossed that all's well with Gena and Kenco and anyone else that I've missed.

    Morning Ladies,

Just a quick bit of advice really...... does anyone here not use OPK's because they never get a positive?

Its really weird because for 2 months I did, and then the last two months I haven't but Im pretty sure I am ovulating as the other signs are there, but I'd like to use something test like as a confirmation rather than relying on signs like cm.....

    Any advice ladies? TIA xx
