  • Morning all:D
:o Oh...can anyone spare a post to tell me what some of these abreviations means? - i'm trying to rack my brains with some of them (i get most, lol, just not all)

Trying to not be too happy yet as if worked out from my last period it makes me 5-6wks (which in my head i thought would have been 2-3wks preg) So i know its really early on. The worst thing is every time i google something i somehow end up on MC sites :( The worst being the one that stated being underweight (i am naturally tiny - think 12yr old girl tiny:o) i have 73% chance of MC. God now i'm all paraniod and worried - i know i shouldn't be as my pregnancy with my daughter was perfect apart from severe morning sickness. Oh darn these websites. I think i am going to do a puzzle or something to get my mind occupied...Ah I'm off to sell some stuff on Ebay :p
Ellie belle - Abbv are here Nunny kindly posted the link on the 1st page:D
    Oh, and quit googling:p:D

Ladies please remember when you're googling that if it's peoples personal experiences you come across then the likelyhood of you coming across something sinister is higher than coming across a positive experience, mainly due to the emotional factor of the people who've posted iyswim.
People rarely post when everything is fine and going smoothly, however if theres problem then they tend to look to the internet for support guidance(as we all know:rolleyes::)) hence you coming across these posts more.
If you want an honest response to something you're worried about, try to find medical articles instead. Or the NHS direct website is always a good one!
No point worrying if you don't need to, not good for you or prospective beans:D

Sticky babydust to everyone and fingers crossed for those testing/those with TLPs xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  • Thanks ladies - i got most and most of the others i was on the right tracks :D

I know - it's actually the news articals that are sending me nuts. Any personal experience posts are generally surrounded by comforting comments so are not too bad to read. BBC news website is the worst as i think they like to scare people so i now vow to stay away from it :p I have had quite a few MC but not for a couple of years now - got a coil put in because i was getting upset and gave myself some time off of trying ;) Now i am just hoping i have given my body the rest it needed ;)

I hope all goes well for you gena - with my daughter i had actual light periods for the first 2-3 months. The only reason i realised i might be pregnant was the nausea - a friend was convinced i was and i was convinced i couldn't be because of the periods  But she forced me to test and she was right - for some reason after i found out my periods stopped  but i went on to have a great pregnancy :T. And i was so lucky i found out late on, because i had near enough passed the worrying stage (11-12wks)by the time i found out for sure i was preg :p.

I hate finding out early :D but i suppose that just comes part and parcel with TTC.

  • Oh and before i found out for sure (and after) - OH was having phantom symptoms along with mine. He got the nausea really bad i used to find it hillarious. He'd sit there heaving...and i'd just laugh...and then i'd start and he'd get the giggles. He used to ride his bicycle in to work and would often come home saying he had to stop and rest because he'd heave so much. Soppy men, LOL! :D

Morning everyone, hope we are all well

Just wanted to drop by to let you know I haven't forgotten about the place, but I am still not mentally 100% to come back yet. There's a lot going on in Chez Nunny that's keeping me from coming back at the mo (that I won't burden any of you with), but I'll hopefully be back as soon as it's all sorted

Love and hugs to all who need them and super sticky baby dust

I'm going to OV in the next 48 hours and I know this purely from my cm and the amount of spots I have on my face:rolleyes::)

Just read that back and it sounds pretty lame:o But I just had to tell someone and DH(the only person I can tell!) would just roll his eyes and say 'so whats yer point?' lol

Anyways after that little revelation...hope you all have a good & productive weekend. Sticky babydust to all xxxxxxxxxxx
