Thanks honey. I was going to wait until Sunday, and I was going to stop temping but I think I'll do both tomorrow!

Kindof - I don't think my line this morning was strong enough for a BFP but I "decided" to class it as one based on the nausea etc. That'll teach me. I know I'm pg, it just depends whether this is one of those chemical pgs. OH will be home soon and I can have a hug.
I'm not sure if there's any point doing a test tomorrow now that I think about it - won't it be positive anyway as the hcg will still be in my system?

Yes Gena - I had spotting last week (I'm 7 weeks pg nearly) so have been doing loads of googling. It wasn;t the reason why in my case but it definitely can cause it. I can't remember the exact reason but if you do a quick search you should find it.

Fingers crossed for you, I know how scary it is xxx

  • Gena: fingers ( and everything else) crossed for you. xxx
  • If it's any help Gena, I have been using the ebay cheapies too (amongst others) - i first picked up a faint line at 8dpo, and the line has gradualy darkened since then. It was only yesterday (21dpo) that it was finally as dark as the test line. And I have been using others as well (yes, soo not MSE) and in some cases (eg first response) the pregnant line was appearing before the test line so the hormones must be a decent strength.
  • :o Oh...can anyone spare a post to tell me what some of these abreviations means? - i'm trying to rack my brains with some of them (i get most, lol, just not all)

Also i done another cheapy test today (i couldn't wait) and the line was still fainter than the control line but this time it shows a definate + unlike the barely there lines i was getting yesterday.:j

Trying to not be too happy yet as if worked out from my last period it makes me 5-6wks (which in my head i thought would have been 2-3wks preg) So i know its really early on. The worst thing is every time i google something i somehow end up on MC sites :( The worst being the one that stated being underweight (i am naturally tiny - think 12yr old girl tiny:o) i have 73% chance of MC. God now i'm all paraniod and worried - i know i shouldn't be as my pregnancy with my daughter was perfect apart from severe morning sickness. Oh darn these websites. I think i am going to do a puzzle or something to get my mind occupied...Ah I'm off to sell some stuff on Ebay :p

Was up very early this morning to do my checks. No more blood - the faintest colour when I wipe so that could be left-over from last night I guess. My temp is slightly lower but not enough to cause concern, could be a normal fluctuation but only time will tell there. I decided not to do a pg test because the likelihood is there wouldn't be an obvious enough difference either way, I'll try to wait till Sunday to do it. Thankyou all so much for your support last night, this is truly a wonderful thread.:D

Ellie-belle - congratulations, it sounds like you have a TLP (Tiny Little Positive).:T Don't worry, information can be a wonderful thing but there is such a thing as knowing too much! Just try to enjoy each day as it comes and not worry about what might happen. (That's my plan for today, tired as I am:o) And I found it hard getting my head around number of weeks pg starting from 1st day of period!

As for the abbreviations, there was a link on this thread but the last time it was posted was aaaages ago (might even have been on TFB3) and I don't know the site to try and post it myself. Someone will be along who can I'm sure, but in the meantime these are the most common that I can tell you:
BFP - Big Fat Positive (you can probably guess BFN...)
    BD - Baby Dance
DTD - Doing The Deed (I think - that's what it is in my head!)
    DPO - Days Past Ovulation
