Your full name does sound like a conference or music centre
Take That live at The ????????????? Hall :rotfl:
Jack Hall - would end up sounding like 'Jack 'All' - a polite way of saying fluck all I suppose!
OH has a strange surname which descends from Scandinavia but there are a few good names that go with it!
Exactly!! - especially with OH's family and their Manc accents.
Nanc - I don't have a middle name - it didn't bother me till I hit 18 and found out there was someone else with the exact same name and DOB, but a rubbish credit record. Now every few months, and everytime we move house etc I get a load of debt collection agencies thinking I'm her. She has a middle name but doesn't seem to use it when apply for credit - presumibly hoping the credit agencies will hit my good record and not her bad
csh - nice pram. We have the 3D which is similar when in carry cot mode, our budget couldn't stretch to the sleepover.
Carla - 38 weeks!0 -

I have the same one, only in "vintage" colour and my chassis is different. I got the big wheels with metal basket. It did me for DD and amusing it for new bubba too. Brilliant pram!! I LOVE IT. I got mine down from attic yesterday and give it a cleanup, and i so cant wait to use it again.
Did you get the rocker crib stand with it??
Yeah, we got the crib stand and the moses set and all the gubbings! I tried the one with the big wheels in the shop as that was the one I orginally wanted but it was too big for me, I could hardly see over the top cos I'm only 5'1, MIL is only 4'10 and she had no chance of seeing anything:rotfl:0 -
I don't have a middle name either, but I always felt left out! My brother had one as my parents couldn't agree so mum chose his first name and dad chose his middle name.
As a kid I used to pretend I had a middle name - it was Mary for a while and then Katie!!!
Right, going to go and have breakfast somewhere. Anyone suggst anywhere in York that does a nice breakfast?
Catch you all later (we have paid £10 for 24 hours internet access so will definitely be back on tonight to get money's worth!). x0 -

Wow there has been lots of talking going on lol
Well I was at the docs on sat, and we told her, she was very excited which I thought was nice lol, she checked my blood pressure and weight, then gave us the number for the midwife.
So I rang the midwife this morning to make my booking appointment.
And she said the next session? is at 9.15am on Monday 27th July.
So basically I wanted to ask you guys for advice about this? What happens at this appointment? Do I need to take anything with me? will it be a one to one appointment (just with her saying session I am wondering if we go at that time and have to wait to be seen, or if in fact 9.15 is our slot?)

Aw, thats nice of your Doc, there is every chance your MW won't react like that. Every area seems to do thing differently - You will def. be asked for your family medical history and your OH, so it might be a good idea to go together. At my appointment she took blood sample, as well as blood pressure, gave me a load of leaflets and information and asked me which hospital I would like to go to and what I though of breast feeding - these last took took me a bit by supprise as I hadn't really got my head around being pregnant. Some MW are able to book you 12 week scan whilst you are there - I got my appointment by letter about a week beforehand, but I didn't have my booking in appointment until 9/10 weeks.
HTH
SS - drip dry? :rotfl:0 -
kinda - take a urine sample and your OH. They'll ask you loads of questions about medical history and family history and give you tons of information leaflets.
Will book in your scan as well.
All surgeries are different but I would expect that is an appointment at 9,15am. MW are normally at a surgery for one 'session' a week so either a morning or afternoon. Yours seems to be a Monday and today was probably full hence being booked for next Monday.
NMS - I was thinking Jack Hall in a Cockney Accent :rotfl:A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0
