Glam, you could have quite a long middle name to go with Jack - Benjamin or Harrison sound like they flow well to me.

    Or Andrew, maybe.

I have visions of you locked away in your office with antibacterial spray at the ready in case anyone tries to come in.

question ladies - how do you prune by electric razor with bump in way?! I do like to keep things tidy but can't see a darned thing! Last attempt ended abruptly with a nasty nick... could get OH to do it I suppose, not the most delightful of tasks...

Does sitting in front of a full-length mirror not work? I'm just guessing here as luckily am not to that point yet! :)

I sat in front of a mirror on a towel with legs spread (not a pretty sight) and could just about see if I lifted my bump out of the way. I struggle to look down as I wear glasses so end up looking at it blind as a bat otherwise!
I did nick myself with the foils but fortunately not on any sensitive bits!

NMs - yep mine was like the afro chainsaw scene too :rotfl:

Ness - sorry your holiday wasn't as relaxing as planned. My OH gets bored easily so can imagine he would be the same!
With you working in NHS, if you weren't on mat leave do you think you would still be working with all this swine flu?

  • hmmm... trouble is location of only full length mirror - would have to perch on one of the bedposts, which would be rather precarious! Maybe I'll just have to surrender to OH - eek!

Hi Glam - Yeah, think I must have just been run down on Saturday. Extra sleep and lucozade seemed to help. How's the barricading yourself in the office going?

I could do with a Lucozade to perk me up but they are loaded with Sugar - In an emergency I can only have about 200mls!

Well, my door is playing up so people are coming in but just staying by the door.

:rotfl:The anti-bacterial stuff is by the door but they say good old soap and water is best - I have sink in my room so am covered should I need to leave for any reason!

Andrew is my Dad's name so that's a no as OH's lot will be miffed but his dad has an awful name which I wouldn't wish on a child!

Benjamin and Harrison are nice though :D

Whenever I suggest a name OH finds someone horrible with that name and discounts it immediately!

    Nair?! Didn't that burn?!
Am sure I tried that a few years ago and it was very sore afterwards. I find it a strange feeling when it's completely bald however have just remembered I have two packets of Nair somewhere so might do that just before my induction date!

No, no burning. Though i always buy the Sensitive one of which-ever hair removal cream i'm buying. Which is usually which is on offer at the time.

I like Finlay as well Glam.

It annoys me that I have to share naming with Husband. His family has a tradition of naming boys after their paternal grandfathers, so instead of getting an uncontested Finlay Joseph I'm going to have to have an extra son!

Yep, Lucozade when ill stems from being an 80's child, it's the only time we were allowed it - still seems to do the trick though! Mmm...I suppose it's not the best thing for you to have :(

We love the name Jack, but it so doesn't go with our surname, Hall, especially when both said quickly together. I wouldn't wish a bad name on anyone - Glam you know my full Sunday name - I sound like a conference centre :rotfl: Hubby is named after his Dad, which he hates and it a right pain in the bum, so we need to make sure little gets a good 'un :D

    ETA: Oh, I like Finlay!

    Have come up with:

    Boys: Lucas, Sam, Jamie, Alex

Girls: Ava, Amelia/Millie, Elizabeth, Anna, Darcy, Ella, Rebecca.

We are so rubbish at this. DS is insisting on Jamie or Elizabeth. He seems to think he is incharge.

We like Lucas for a boy. It's top of our list. My best friends have a Sam and a Jamie so we wouldn't pick them, but I do like them.
For a girl, Ava and Millie are my favourites from your list.
