nanc - you might want to PM or talk to mountainlioness, as I think she's been going to classes and seems really keen on Hynobirthing. (at least I'm pretty sure it was her?!)

    good morning girls!!
havent been on to catch with you guys since friday am!! have had a busy, but exciting weekend.
Friday night was at a friends house and got taught to play poker - and ended up winning £40!!!!! :D yay, go me.lol.
Saturday got the babies floor down and wardrobes up - it looks so nice!! Then yesterday my mum took DD for me and i managed to get all babies stuff sorted out. pram, bouncer, moses basket etc down from loft, got everything washed and dried and now it is sitting pristine. Just need to buy cotbed bedding and curtains for the room and were ready to go. it feels soooooo good to know that baby can come anytime now and im ready.
nesting has well n truly kicked in. i also decluttered the kitchen and moved our bedroom around. Then oh treated me to dinner and cinema last night as my sister took DD overnight for us. was lovely.

Strange that you were all talking about it, but he naired me!! i cant see a thing, and couldnt get into a comfortable enough postion to do it myself and sit still for 10 mins!!!! lol. the look on his face was priceless. i couldnt help laughing, although he wasnt amused!!

Today the list is, shampoo the living room mat, burhs and mop floors. Collect DD. visit next sale (again) to see if there is anything exciting (shop i went to on sat had nothing!wasnt impressed). Phone Docs to order ANOTHER bottle fo gaviscon! Phone dentist to see if i can get an appt - part of one of my molars fell out on sat morn - its not bad or anything!? but it sharp and started to cut my tongue. although i havent been to dentist in about 3 years -- am enormously petrified!!!!!!!!!

sorry girls, this is a rather long post. will teach me to not pop on in a while!!

hmmm... trouble is location of only full length mirror - would have to perch on one of the bedposts, which would be rather precarious! Maybe I'll just have to surrender to OH - eek!

I'm lucky that mine's not up on the wall!
Have you got a smaller mirror? I perched the mirror against the wardrobe and then lent back against the door for support.
OH wanted to watch me do it for a laugh but I told him to bu66er off - like I need an audience!

In OH's family - the middle names have tended to be FIL's uncles names.
FIL's brother is dead and I am not using use name NO CHANCE!
It's bad enough they think we've used Jack because it was FIL's grandad's name and if I could come up with even one other name that we could agree on I might change my mind! (god, I sound like a biatch!)

I urge everyone not to give your child 2 names, and then have them be known by their middle name!!! It causes sooooo much confusion. I know lots of people like this (including DH), and it causes nothing but hassle!

DH has the same first name as his dad, but is known by his middle name. He hates it.

Am also feeling quite sick. If i threw up maybe i'd feel better. Bottom of bump area and foof area are extremley uncomfortable, god knows what i'll be like when it drops or engages. Also have slight achey lower back, bit period painish and need to go to the loo, but can't - damn iron tablets. I am turning into OH and becoming a severe Hypocondriac. Was doing fantastically well , until i hit 30 weeks and its all going drastically down hill.

Yep, Lucozade when ill stems from being an 80's child, it's the only time we were allowed it - still seems to do the trick though! Mmm...I suppose it's not the best thing for you to have :(

I normally like a Red Bull every now and then but that's a no go now as well!

We love the name Jack, but it so doesn't go with our surname, Hall, especially when both said quickly together. I wouldn't wish a bad name on anyone - Glam you know my full Sunday name - I sound like a conference centre :rotfl: Hubby is named after his Dad, which he hates and it a right pain in the bum, so we need to make sure little gets a good 'un :D

    ETA: Oh, I like Finlay!

Your full name does sound like a conference or music centre
Take That live at The ????????????? Hall :rotfl:

Jack Hall - would end up sounding like 'Jack 'All' - a polite way of saying fluck all I suppose!

OH has a strange surname which descends from Scandinavia but there are a few good names that go with it!

Morning ladies, Re names, so far we've decided on the middle name Alexander and agreed to wait until he's born to give him a 1st name, purely because we can't think of 1! Hoping he looks like a 'something' when he pops out :rotfl:
Am stuck in today until River Island deliver my sale stuff, but using that as an excuse to stay in my jammies.
Picking up my pram tomorrow, am so excited can't wait to play with it, its this one here

Good choice csh!!! ;) I have the same one, only in "vintage" colour and my chassis is different. I got the big wheels with metal basket. - the "Classic Sleepover" It did me for DD and amusing it for new bubba too. Brilliant pram!! I LOVE IT. I got mine down from attic yesterday and give it a cleanup, and i so cant wait to use it again.
Did you get the rocker crib stand with it??
