Thanks Aless. Wondered if she would ever get named. I've been telling people they might have to wait the 42 days until I register her before I decide on a name. I'm on my 2nd run through the 40,001 name book and still have a list of 30ish.

And every time I think I have one, someone on here beats me and names their little girl whatever my favourite is for that day.

    I'm calling her Fred!!!!

harley - I know what you mean! There's SO many names I love (but also so many I hate! lol, those seem to be all the ones DH suggests ;)) - we're both quite opinionated on names so agreeing could be very difficult. I've told him we MUST have a shortlist of max. 3 names of each sex by 36 weeks...we shall see! :p

There's a website...http://www.babynames.com where you can set up a list and have other people vote on it. If people want to share theirs, it could be fun (unless you're nervous about people stealing your names, which I totally understand, hehe).

WM - how typical that you solve my problem then get it back yourself. Hope you have a better night tonight.

Sorry to hear about your dodgy morning, glad you are seeing the nurse though. Doesn't sound very pleasant but hopefully she will be able to tell you what it is and stop it happening again. You're not overdoing it are you? My doc has been quite insistent that I not work too hard, or stress myself in any way. And my BP is low, though it is getting higher it is still only 105/60 (pre preg was 80/50).

    Hope you feel better soon.

Thanks Harley. I'm still working, but have a desk job. Don't do anything too waring, apart from work and see to 5 year old DS. Just hoping its a one off dodgey day. Had one when i was pregnant with DS, went all woozey, but also couldn't speak. My brain seemed to fail to work and let me actually form words. They never found out what caused that and it lasted an hour at the most. But would sooner get checked out than leave it. Baby happily moving around, so it seems ok in there.

How cool. Loving voting on other peoples names but think I'll keep mine a secret for a bit longer.

I quite liked Willow, except it won't go with my Surname but my dad keeps using it as an example of names he thinks are made up/hippy names and is most derogatory about them. Mind you, he seriously suggested Patience - when I am the most impatient person on the planet.

So I plan to introduce her with a name and everyone will hopefully keep their opinions to themselves.

Whoever was asking about scans/appts: I didn't have my booking in until I was 11 1/2 wks going by my LMP. At that appt, she couldn't believe I hadn't had a letter about my scan, so she called the hospital there and then and schedule me an appt for the following wk to do dating scan + nuchal (so I was 12w2d going by LMP) - so don't panic :). If you've not gotten anything by the time your booking appt comes, the MW may do it for you...

Thats just it their was no mention of him contacting a midwife just that he would send a letter to the hospital because they may want to give me a scan to get some idea of how far along i was. So i am now left in limbo not knowing what is going on, and if it's like with my son i wont know if the overlook booking my scan. Did you's contact the MW independently of the doctor!

The reception staff at my doctors are rude and expect you too know these things without you even being told. like the stupid new appointment system they have.
When i was pregnant before i was given an appointment for MW their and then and she arranged everything and I knew who to contact with questions.

Aw HypnoNu - he is so cute. I love the LOCK UP YOUR DAUGHTERS!!!

Jillie - thanks for asking the question!

So, I'm covering for medical secretary as her cover is off sick and no other bu66er knows what to do but it is really hurting my wrists and fingers doing all this typing. I think I'm going to have to give up soon - I never do this much typing normally but the last hour has really hurt!

Gonna have lunch now for 30mins and then do some more - I'll do the urgent referrals but have told my boss unless they get outside cover the rest will have to wait until next week. Not ideal but I can't manage as my hands are starting to cramp up - will take some paracetamol as well but I don't like to take them if I don't have to.

Had a short blitz of my room earlier and it's looking a lot tider. Anythign else I need to do will have to be done at home in overtime, I'm not over-exerting myself for work especially not in my last few days.
