Ok this is really getting to me not knowing how far along i am if i work it back i could be as far as 16 weeks but i think/feel i'm more around 8 weeks.Periods skipped for 2/3 months at a time so cant date exactly.
Has any one tried those tests that tell you how many weeks you may be pregnant and how close was the weeks given . I know they are not 100% accurate but i would like to have some sort of ball park to work with.[STRIKE]Little bump 3 on it's way[/STRIKE]:j

Sugar she is beautifull you must be so proud. Now i really want a little girl :-) x
Three i have used those tests when i was first prgnant but they are ineffective after about 6wks and will give false readings so they are ony really any good if you are very newley pregnant. ;-):jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0 -

Three2be I'm in the same situation. I missed my last 2 and I'm usually 5 week per cycle. So I could anything from 3-4 up to about 12. I think I'm about 8 weeks to because of the sickness and the weeping.
Hence I'm trying to get my scan asap.

32B - I think they are only useful when you are a few weeks like 2-3 or 4-5.
Sarah - sorry about ur dentist appt.
SS - aw she is so cute! I want one!!!!!
Fishcake - you could also try ringing the scanning dept.
Well, won't be on much today (she says ) have got stacks to do and now I have 2 members of staff off who are supposed to cover each other. Guess who's gonna have to do the urgent referrals  not impressed but at least a lunchtime meeting has been cancelled.
Had a crap night sleep but mainly because OH kept prodding me as I was keeping him awake. If I sleep on my left or on my back, I snore like a hog but if I sleep on my right I don't. Problem is I get sore from lying on one side. I've been told to sleep in spare room - not sure how I'll manage that as BIL is coming to stay Thursday - does he expect me to bunk in with him?!
Just realised we've not heard from Suzy yet - could be good news!!!

Thanks xmas! I don't really liek surprises so like to know what to expect even from a MW appointment!
Three, can you phone the midwife and ask about a dating scan? Surely they would view it as necessary when you ahve no idea! I was the same, when I first got my BFP I could have been about 12 weeks going by my dates but was actually only 5 weeks! Surely they'd need to be able to check your progress and book in for anomoly scan etc but that would be hard without an EDD?0 -

Ok things have really changed since last baby. just off the phone to the doctor and they aren't even interested in seeing me or doing a test. He said you've been hear before no need to repeat a test if yours was positive.
I have to collect my folic tabs later and just wait on an antenatal appointment. He said that given my erratic period they may want to get me in for a dating scan(yes please).
Total time of call 6 min, can't believe they don't even refer you to a nurse for blood pressure etc. So it may be weeks before i find out when the bump is due.
What am i going to tell people thats usually the first thing they ask when you say you are expecting, when are you due... erm some time next year i thinkgreat start.
How long did people what on their dating scans?
My mam couldnt believe it when no-one not the docs of the midwife actually did a pregnancy test on me lol
I got my dating scan appointment on Sat, when I was 9+2 weeks, I will be 12 weeks when I have it
SJ - I saw my MW at 8 weeks and had all my bloods taken (still have the brusie), she then said she didnt want to see me (lol) till I was 16 weeks, I have to have my scan first then when I know my exact due date I have to ring the MW for an appointment when I am exactly 16 weeks
Awwww SS she is gorgeous!!!!!!
three2be - the dating tests only work so far, Clearblue goes like this 2-3 weeks, 3-4 weeks, 4-5 weeks, 5 weeks + then you need to add 2 weeks (as the docs do) so if you were 8 weeks or 16 weeks it would just say 5 week+Debt £30,823.48/£44,856.56 ~ 06/02/21 - 31.28% Paid OffMortgage (01/04/09 - 01/07/39)
