Boogellyboo, as said, buy them, keep what you want and ebay the rest.
Lolly hope you feel better soon!
My boys watch a DVD at night (NOT school nights) so I can get some peace (say I send them up at 7-7.30pm), but it's one DVD if any carry on it's off. And the TV in the livingroom is not on all day either. Been a bit lax during the summer hols though, to make up for the fact that we haven't been getting out as much. Besides, the big TV makes the room too hot!0 -

DH asked me the other night if they go under things, and I wasn't even sure about that!! Bodysuits could be long sleeved, short sleeved or vest type with no sleeves. What do they go under? I take is sleepsuits are worn on their own? See, I am worse than you!0 -
i want tog et a few more outfits and then will wash everything. mum kept saying to me 'you dont know what people will buy' but a lot of people i know buy 3-6 months sizes cos they know new mums tend to buy the newborn stuff. so over the next week or so i'm buying!!'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0

Thanks Tia. I have no intention of buying anything else until we see if it's a boy or girl lol. Just keep hearing about Glam and others doing more washing and thinking hmmm, I don't have that much! I am sure I have enough to do the first few weeks anyway. Have put 1 wash on, and will do another wash another time. 2 washes isn't a lot for adults, but it contains plenty of tiny little clothes I think!
Boogelly - I would buy them too and sell on what you don't want. The same as the others have said.
Do you need a shawl/blankets etc for baby for hospital? Or is the shawl just to look nice?
They provide blankets, and they are better suited to the hospital anyway (lighter), plus, they wash them.
I've got one shawl for when she is coming home to go over the car seat while we walk to the car. Our maternity hospital is the top of a hill and on a scorching summers day the wind is so bad it's like winter!0 -
To be honest, I have went mad this time... just because it's a girl and I had accepted that I'd never have a little girl to dress up. But it's all eBay bargains and I know I will get my money back on them. Most recent bundle cost me £8.47 inc delivery for 4 next dresses, 1 next outfit and 1 Disney pooh outfit! Got about 5 dress in newborn, 8 in 0-3 and 4 in 3-6. Then just 6 sleepsuits, 6 vests, socks, bibs, tights and some shoes that will go with varius outfits. Oh some leggins that were on sale in mothercare. DH will be sent out to buy more sleepsuits and vests (asda or tesco own) when she is here and we know her size.0

From what I understand, a VEST is the bit that goes underneath and is generally short-sleeved and has no legs (but does pop under the bottom)...totally confusing. A sleepsuit/babygro goes on top of a vest and can short or long-sleeved and has legs. Not sure where a bodysuit fits in...?!
Why can't they have more descriptive names for us new moms!top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

I probably have about 12 vestsuits, 12 short sleeved bodysuits, 15 sleepsuits, a few velour sleepsuits which are a bit fancier, 2 pram suits and a couple of dungaree/top type neutral outfits. Most are in 0-3 months. I have a few things in newborn and a few things in 3-6 months.
It's difficult to know - I assume I will have an average sized baby, but depending on where you buy from, a newborn outfit would fit the bill, and other places it's 0-3. Got I hope I don't have a massive baby and discover that nothing fits!!!0 -
I have a dumb question...when the baby kicks/moves, does it kinda feel like a muscle twitch but from inside your abdomen? I can't tell, they're so subtle!top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne
