Another 4 years, but I can now progress to the next course. And I think I did good given the pregnancy and the fact that the higher itself was kinda crammed in at the last minute! Sorry the bp is up, is it a lot or just a bit? Mine is way down at 114/72! :j

4 years!! it will be all worth it!!
today its 130/85 which isnt too bad and certainly not as high as yours has been. i think because i'm on the meds this is probably why she has told me to go and have it checked in few days. although both last wek and this week i have done a lot of rushing around which can affect the BP. hopefully with lots of rest today and tomorrow it should come down. then it will be see what the hospital say on monday.

Her 'main' present is a 40'' samsung tv for her bedroom  alongside approx a million other things but am I just completely distanced from the real world in thinking that a tv that size (and expensive) for a 5 year olds bedroom is a bit OTT?
Please tell me Im not the only one that thinks this is odd
defo not odd! what kind of message does that give a 5 yo?? surely that is far far too big for a bedroom?? i never had a TV in my room and never wanted one. we all watched tv as a family once homework/studying was done. even now we have a tv in our room it is never switched on. no wonder kids are unfit and massive these days.
i've already said that baby gets 1 christmas present this year (i;ll see if i can stick to that one lol!) but would prob buy more little things over the months rather than loads at christmas. have asked already thats for people to buy 1 present but if they want more we will give them the childrens saver account number and they can put money in that'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -

Thats about 30p each I think? She said she'll think about offers so might see would she take £40 for all of it so I dont have to sift through each item and then even if I dont like half of it it'll be cheaper than ebay. Whys it so hard to make decisions when your pregnant?!
Buy it pick out what you want and sell the rest yourself at the local carboot or on ebay i'm sure with that amount of clothes you would easily make your money back :-):jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0 -
boojelly- i would buy it. sort out what you want and then sell it on.'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0

Fitzio, you will get lots of presents and you want to wait to see what they look like before going buying too many outfits, see what will suit them.0

Blimey I haven't even thought about christmas presents for her yet. Still got my head stuck in the sand that she's even gonna be here I think!! A 40" TV is def ridiculous for a 5 yr old. I wish I had a 40" tv!0 -

Thanks Tia. I have no intention of buying anything else until we see if it's a boy or girl lol. Just keep hearing about Glam and others doing more washing and thinking hmmm, I don't have that much! I am sure I have enough to do the first few weeks anyway. Have put 1 wash on, and will do another wash another time. 2 washes isn't a lot for adults, but it contains plenty of tiny little clothes I think!
Boogelly - I would buy them too and sell on what you don't want. The same as the others have said.
Do you need a shawl/blankets etc for baby for hospital? Or is the shawl just to look nice?0 -
the only reason i have thought bout xmas is i remember hubby's niece's 1st christmas and the horrendous amount of stuff that she was given. and i swore then i would never do the same. (please feel free to remind me of this if i ever do the same). also i have seen 1 or 2 nice things to get baby that will be good for them.'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0
