I have a dumb question...when the baby kicks/moves, does it kinda feel like a muscle twitch but from inside your abdomen? I can't tell, they're so subtle! :p

thats what i used to feel till one day it felt like a little foot or fist moving down my stomach really hard like they were trying to find a gap to squeeze through

i miss the little muscle twitches

WM - how long until you finish your work? Must be the next few weeks surely as you are due the day before me and I finish in 3 weeks.

    QUOTE]

Fitzio, i have told work i will finish on Friday 11th Sept. But that, then depends on consultant appointment on 18th Aug. If i finally make the decision to go for the elective section, i should get an actual date for it and then my finish date may change.

Am working as long as i can, so i can have longer off after. I work for a very small company, who are giving me 4 months off with full pay. This includes all the holidays i have not taken this year, which is all my entitlement bar one day. So will be back in work middle of January2010. And its also a month longer than i had off when i had DS.

    to me...
vest has short or no sleeves, no legs
baby gro/sleepsuit has long sleeves and feet
body suit is just another word for babygro/sleepsuit
vests can be used under outfits but prob not with a babygro or on their own if its a warm night

I thought vests went under everything, whatever the weather pretty much? In fact, my dad still says to me (before I was preggers and got glammed up going out) 'should you not have a vest under there?' and Im 29 :rotfl:

Ive noticed a lot of the baby sleeping bags come with a free room thermometer and one of the charts that relate temp to how many layers. My mini mode one had one and loads in TK Maxx did too, noticed last night they had lots of proper 'grobags' for £10 which seemed cheap.

Sleepsuits/babygrow Can have little bits to cover hands or not.

vests/bodysuits can have long sleeves, short sleeves or sleevless

    all in one suit/romper suit
    no feet or hands

ETA, I'd rather keep a vest on them and ditch the sleepsuit if it's warm (but put socks on) for teh simple reason that the vest keeps the nappy nice and tight against their bums and they leak less.

SO, on a normal night, vest and sleepsuit.

Cold night, vest sleepsuit cardigan socks (under the sleepsuit).

    Warm night, vest and socks.
