Today's oufits..Wed 5th Aug

Morning all (just)..

Today's office outfit for me is..Blue and white striped tea dress with smocked waist detail and "drawn on effect" pictures on one side of houses, ppl etc, H&M via Ebay £16 ish..Not sure I like it anymore tho, so after tonight's wash it's up for grabs..
Black longline cardi, Topshop £28
Black leggings, new look £8
Blue pixie boots, offie £15, but I managaed to talk them down to £10 as they were the last pair and had a scuff..which I managed to polish out when we got home..
Blue huge handbag, H&M £19.99 (matches the boots perfectly in colour)

Another half day, and then I'm getting taken to the cinema this evening (will try to have a nap in between) and so will have an outfit change later on, may pop back once decided..

  • Morning (just) everyone!

    Today I am wearing:

    - White top with shoulder ribbon detail (Dorothy Perkins, £24 but it's multifunctional and I love it!)
    - Dark pink and gold brocade pattern tulip skirt (Dorothy Perkins, £18 in the sale)
    - Cream quilted ballet pumps with black patent tips (New Look, £14)

In the office til half past five, then home to do job applications. Fun fun fun(!)

Hope everyone's having a good day!

Hi folks.....change of circs means I probably won't be posting as much from the end of this month....

    Anyway, today's outfit comprises:

    Dark brown Next suit
Yellow & brown patterned chiffon blouse (Next clearance) with brown vest under
Brown wedge sandals (Clarks clearance last year)

Am a bit happy today - managed to pick up the beige knee boots I wanted on Ebay, along with a brand new pair of dark brown Clarks ones & some Next tan ones too :) Did also buy a pair of River Island piratey brown boots, but they need some tlc to the inner sole - described only as "worn" I really should ask before I jump in with my bids! Only problem now is that I need to polish up my surplus boots & pop them onto Ebay to cover my expenditure :o

Just think of all those nice bacterial and fungal infections you can pick up from second hand footwear.

And of course you would never dream of trying on a shoe in a shop that has had lots of hot and sweaty feet trying them on. ;)

    Afternoon peeps!

It's quite humid here, so potting round the house in a vintage Penny Plain indian cotton sun dress (very 70s Cadbury Flake girl style, pity just I look like I've eaten too many flakes :rotfl:) and have pink spotty silk scarf tied round hair (freebie from a mag last year).

Got a day off today, loads to do and no idea where to start, apart from I've just mended the house name on our front gate, so now people can find us again.

certainly not. I have them custom made. I have a friend who is a chiropodist and I hear all the lovely stories from him thanks.

So out of interest, how much per wear do you reckon you have paid for your custom made footwear?

What, never? You've always had them custom made since you were a child? How lucky you are. ;)

I frequently buy vintage and second hand shoes and I have lovely feet, even if I say so myself, with not a verrucca or trace of fungus in sight. However, I do tend to steer clear of the ones on ebay advertised as "well worn" :rotfl:

Hope its a good change in circumstances floss.

I've been in a grey shift dress and one of my aprons all morning, barefoot. My big dog walk got swapped from morning to this evening (weather) so I was clean and ry quicker than normal today.

Dh is in Italy and a client gave him a ''large hand bag'' for me. I hope its nice! DH thinks I'll like it. :j Hopefully he'll be home at the weekend and I'll find out. He's also picking up some bits and bobs for me that I prefer from Italy, e.g. a favourite talcum powder and bubble bath. Its always such short notice and he asks what I want and my mind goes blank. I should keep a list to send him really :o

MSE well goomed job for tonight will be a home facial. My skin is being difficult so its going to have a bio oil massage followed by honey face mask.

Dont know exactly but I guess about £300 per year but then with quality I dont need to buy shoes every year. I have 3 pairs of formal shoes and a couple of pairs of trainers and one of those pairs is only used for badminton matches. those I buy direct from spiortsdiscount.com
Its a lot cheaper in the long run keeping ones feet healthy.
