Speaking personally, I do have a couple of major concerns in my life which I could dwell on and allow to take over OR I can spend 30 minutes a day having a frivolous chat with a bunch of complete strangers to lift my spirits.
Although I love working from home I do miss that first 10 minutes of the day at work talking absolute nonsense about clothes, make-up and hair which serves to bolster one's confidence.

It's people with attitudes like yours that are the problem. Just take it for what it is, fashion and outfit related general chat.
