    Afternoon, all!

My BF (happy birthday, darling!) is proud to own orange shoes - he's always been an original dresser, suppose that's why we're a perfect match. When I first met him he was in a punk band sporting a blue mohawk and all the Vivienne Westwood World's End clobber (worth a small fortune now). He's been through various incarnations since then and even featured as a "Just Seventeen" pin-up of the week on several occasions during the early 1990's. :rotfl:

I'm having a lazy day today and wearing:
Black silk A-line strappy smock with multi-coloured feather-shaped trim and a tie at the back with silver leaf shapes dangling down (£2.75 British Heart Foundation)
River Island skinny jeans cut off below the knee (10p jumble sale)
Leather mid-calf gladiators (£3 Indian market)
Black Warehouse enamel bangle (BDA £1)
Usual Indial tribal bangles and rings
TopShop hoop earrings with multi-coloured feathers (£3 sale buy)

I'm actually signed up to do a shoe making course at our town's Leather Museum in September - £12.50 for the day including the leather to make your own shoes!

Have a lovely sunshine afternoon and Floss, we're gonna miss you!

    I try - I honestly do.

I am strangely interested to know what people are wear so read the thread without posting and noted with interest that it had 50 posts when I opened it - but look -

Approx one third of posts are descriptions of what you are wearing -
the rest are absolute bounder wind-ups that you are all buying into and also then posting what your husbands are wearing:confused:

-for God's sake, can it not be kept on track?

If "ignore some people, everyone" even half means me, then please do. I don't need an answer, just want to make my point.

However, the "everyone" underlines what I meant the other day by "Power of the Plural".

This is as much a stupid clique as you might find in real life.

If there was a smiley with a little lightbulb going on, I would insert it here.

Gottochange, if you don't like the posts, don't feel you have to join in, take your attention somewhere else, do not insult the people here. I realise if Absolute's job were as high-powered as he made out, then he wouldn't have the spare time to come and stir things up, but it is amusing to laugh at some of his comments, in my opinion.

Anyway, there is nothing wrong with orange shoes on a man, my ex has an extensive collection of super shoes (well, extensive for a man being more like 20 pairs to my hundreds). I guess that's one of the things we had in common.
His are mainly Jeff Wests too, purple, orange and blue, as well as some fab white leather ones with red devils on the back..impractical but I loved them, so they were a present! Oliver Sweeney is also a good make for the more odd skins, and colours..See, men can have fabulous taste in shoes too!!

I will read/post when/if I feel like it on any thread of my choosing. I am not insulting anyone per se - the threads themselves make me wonder what the world is becoming; as I have said, I read what people are wearing with interest, scrolling through the chitchat gives me eye strain.
Please don't bother responding to me or telling me to go elsewhere.

Mrs_Ryan, I couldn't agree more! Glad to hear you're fit enough to go back to work and bet you're very excited about the weekend now.

I've got about 15hours till the Big Chill gates open tomorrow - yipee! Stocked up on the cider, wine and posh nibbles and just need to figure out what I'm wearing.
BF teases me that I take more to a festival than I do for a month in India!
The trouble is that the weather is so damn changeable in the UK and for these all-night festies you need to dress like a deep sea trawlerman to stay warm but still look cool!
Not only is Rankin going to be there with a mobile studio but Film4 are shooting "I Spit On Your Rave" - the world's biggest audience participation zombie movie.
