  • Good afternoon :)

Today I had a nightmare shopping trip with my mum due to the humidity. She is also going through the menopause so hot flush plus stupid heat - not a good combination... which leads me to my outfit which was:

Black Leggings - peacocks or primark?! can't remember
Gladiator sandals - new look kids (love being a size 4!!)
Black empire line jersey dress (quite short) - primark
Blue loose batwing overdress, satin and sort of see through strip panels.... George at Asda
drop pendant, silver rope bracelet, faux chanel watch, tiffany ring and a black ribbon in my hair!

I think I looked fine until I had hot sweats in the shops and my look became rather dishevelled.

As for mens shoes my OH has.... 20 odd pairs of skate trainers, pristinely kept in colour order (he has OCD).... some nice orange boots too though, maybe they're tan.... orangey tan boots
    SPC5 #1651 total so far: £78.59

Gottochange, if you don't like the posts, don't feel you have to join in, take your attention somewhere else, do not insult the people here.

I dont think you have quite got up to Gotochanges level of subtlety:rotfl:

I realise if Absolute's job were as high-powered as he made out, then he wouldn't have the spare time to come and stir things up, but it is amusing to laugh at some of his comments, in my opinion.

Whoever saidd I had a high powered job:rotfl: I work when I need to

Anyway, there is nothing wrong with orange shoes on a man,

    Well not in Brighton anyway

my ex has an extensive collection of super shoes (well, extensive for a man being more like 20 pairs to my hundreds). I guess that's one of the things we had in common.
His are mainly Jeff Wests too, purple, orange and blue, as well as some fab white leather ones with red devils on the back..impractical but I loved them, so they were a present! Oliver Sweeney is also a good make for the more odd skins, and colours..See, men can have fabulous taste in shoes too!!
Im not sure how purple orange and blue shoes and man fit into the same sentence
Who I am is not important. What I do is.

I will read/post when/if I feel like it on any thread of my choosing. I am not insulting anyone per se - the threads themselves make me wonder what the world is becoming; as I have said, I read what people are wearing with interest, scrolling through the chitchat gives me eye strain.
Please don't bother responding to me or telling me to go elsewhere.

You're not out-right insulting anyone, no. But snide comments like the one here don't go unnoticed. You make a pretty sweeping generalisation about the people who post in these threads - does enjoying a chat about fashion mean we won't enjoy other chats about life, the economy, social issues or anything else more worthy?

Sometimes I wonder what the world's coming to when people find themselves inclined to wind up others on the internet.

Actually, the comment about eye strain wasn't meant any way other than quite seriously; trying to understand what was causing daily headaches, it struck me that speed-scrolling through the chatter - on this - and other - threads -may be triggering them. Today's thread was disappointingly off-topic for most of it.

What puzzles me is the amount of time that people must have available to post on so many worthy threads as well as this one. This one just pushes some buttons for me - for reasons I've already stated and shan't repeat.
I have avoided it lately and shall be doing again.

I was referring to your 'these threads make me wonder what the world is coming to' comment, not your eye strain.
People have plenty of reasons for posting. I usually have an hour of down time a day (haven't had this today though!) so will come mooch about in between more productive activity.

Im wearing a BC Rich $14000 custom built
Flames in the Garden of Eden
Heaven in pieces at my feet
    I faced the raging ruins
    Of a million sleepless nights
I need to rest my weary head
    On your resurrection bed.
