Can you use witch hazel on C-section stitches to heal faster?
No idea! Best to ask the midwife that one I suspect. They tend not to want you to put anything much on the scar in the first few days though to minimise infection, so perhaps not.
But its not a bad thing to have in the medicine cabinet anyway for minor cuts and aches.0 -
Thats ok CSH i think i will pass on anything that requires inserting i will stick to swallowing maybe i should have taken my own advise 7 months ago i wouldn't need to be asking now :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0

6lb with a pointy head and slim shoulders is what I was aiming for!!!
xxxx
Me too :rotfl:Sadly the Bellyfrog's head was measuring at 40+3 at the hospital yesterday while the rest of her is around 38/39 weeks. So my tiny little miscreant is going to be a lollipop stick at first ... I hope her hats are big enough
Nicki, I'm not sure why you keep mentioning my name as though I'm the only person who's ever posted a list (and I continued to do so because so many people said it was motivational to them). Usually if I've something to say beyond a simple I'm sorry that happened to you I send it by PM - I have a fair amount of information and experience (professional and personal) that I don't feel comfortable sharing in public but have less of a problem doing so one on one. It didn't occur to me that not making a public statement to that effect made it seem that I didn't care. I've never meant to derail the thread from where it was going, and I'm sorry you felt ignored.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Nope - it was your post effectively saying "Get over it, all that matters is a healthy baby" in response to my post which described a harrowing birth resulting in my very disabled baby, and which followed on from several days worth of your petty sniping at me for disagreeing with a poster who had denigrated a woman for accepting pain relief in labour, that demonstrated to me quite unequivocally that you didn't care. I must have missed that supportive PM then
Tbh - I know that there are a number of posters here who are supportive and knowledgeable about some of the issues I've faced and am facing, and I now try and post only about things I need support with when their lights are on and yours is off, so unpleasant were you to me.0 -
I know they're not for your backside:rotfl: But if she can't find that, shes not finding the other place:rotfl:
As for what xmas puts in her mouth thats her own business;) :rotfl:
Given that she's on this thread she must have some idea about the other place...Sugarspun can i just say that you have also been very helpful & motivational and i always enjoy reading your post's. I know I post a lot and sometimes it's [STRIKE]fairly[/STRIKE] extremely random, but I really like most of the people I'm posting [STRIKE]to[/STRIKE] at on this thread and it makes me smile to be part of such a lovely community of people.

Kate Garraways baby, I remember reading that her midwife said she thought she was having a big baby, he was only 7lb 12oz and she was huge!0 -

Our baby's head circumference was on the 95th centile at the 20 week scan- all other measurements were between 50th-75th. I try not to think about it!:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0
