Hi Pookie - Nice to see you on here again - have you shaken off your flu?

OH bought me this weekend bag from M&S for my birthday so I am using that. They had them in the sale last week in a few different colours, but look like they are sold out online. Might have some left in the shop though, but can't remember the sale price!

Hello to everyone else. I have posted plenty of things that have been ignored, and whilst I think it would be nice for some acknowledgement, I also understand that it's impossible for everyone to acknowledge everyone on the thread!
When I first joined the thread, I was a bit disappointed as I was looking for ideas and opinions on purchases of baby stuff as I believed it to be money saving related as well as baby related, and I think that things like that are hard to find on here - they get lost in all of the chat. But it is a chat thread, and people can post what they like. I just skip past anything that is not of interest (although DH gets really annoyed as I read most posts unless it's been a really busy day). However, I am inexperienced and don't have much advice for folk so I will post if it's something I can help with.
I also find that I normally don't get on during the day, so if it's late at night before I catch up - there is no point in me replying to certain things as it's been and gone. It doesn't mean I am not interested or don't care.

See - once I start, I can't stop! This is why I can't reply to every post. I am sure everyone (if you read this far) is completely bored by now.....:o

3 minutes wow I won't even ask what speed he must have been going lol.
Have you had a baby in the new maternity unit then?? Seems a lot nicer than when I had dd there almost 11 years ago. Found the midwives to not be that helpful then but hopefully it has changed for the better.

Evening all...not usually on this time of night, but DH is taking a bath so wanted to catch up so I didn't have as much to read in the morning :). Glad I wasn't logged on earlier this evening or heaven forbid I might've chosen to disagree with people - oh noes! As far as I'm concern, all are welcome on this thread and all have the right to post whatever they please until a moderator says otherwise. Honestly, personal disagreements need to be taken to PM in the very 1st instance, which I believe is general MSE policy (or maybe I have that confused to another msg board I belong to).

    Fitzio - cute bag!!

Beenie - you sound a bit cheerier today, I hope! I still don't know how I missed your scan results the other day...must've just been skimming far too much that day. Or preggo brain ditched info, lol :rotfl:No offense, but I almost don't want you and your now ex to reconcile because he sounds like an a$$ that doesn't treat you properly, but I do hope you can get all the support you need from family & friends for your pregnancy and birth!

pookie - have you gotten over your flu, poor thing?

Good luck to all with appts for tomorrow! This is just a fly-by, so I'm going to bed :D

yeah, i didnt ask either -- mw was astounded, she pretty much only put the phone down, and next minute he was buzzing to get in. lol.
Yeah, the new unit is absoloutely gorgeous!! Was lucky enough to get a side ward to myself after DD was born, and it was like being in a hotel - i didnt want to go home!! Although, i know im probably not going to be so lucky this time as its my 2nd and im seen as being "experienced" . lol. i feel less in-the-know this time round than with DD!
    Carla-Farla!! :)

Just to stop you crying, I will reply for the sake of it!! I saw your bump picture when I got home and you are really neat!! You are probably about the same size as me I think, but you look slimmer to start with! I am a bit fatter round the back ha ha.
