Just been crying because I just had to chase a HUGE spider around my flat, finally trapped it under a flower pot (with a heavy book on top just in case) in my bedroom :( Can't even close the bedroom door now but there is no way I'm going to try moving it and OH is working nights and wont be back until 7am :( I hate spiders!

On a pregnancy related note I got shouted at the other day for trying to go through a barrier at a train station. Apparently pregnant ladies shouldn't go through the gates in case the gates close on them. I've never heard this before and wasn't too impressed with being shouted at plus it takes ages to get them to let you through the manual gate usually.

I hope noogle moves soon, she hasn't moved since the spider incident.

Thanks aless! I am trying to convince myself i can do this without breaking down crying, seeing as the breakup is so fresh, but i do have a good cry now and again particularly when i think of the good things about him (which surprisingly there are quite a lot).

I don't feel like i can move on til i get my car back from him, it's over 120 miles away currently and he's not cooperating . Still, my anger is keeping me sane in a weird way, that he took the Wii and the car at the height of the school holidays.

Oops i'm off on a tangent again :rotfl:

aless and fitzio- thanks I'm feeling much better, took this week off work as well just to rest and get 100% on top of things.

Horrible story Fitzio I read something similar in one of the weekly magazines a few weeks back. Lady was at antenatal appointment with her young son in tow and had her drink spiked!!! She was taken into the woods and her baby cut out of her, luckily she survived and was later reunited with the baby.

Crazy crazy world we live in!!

Kavinam - glad to see another norn ironer on here lol.

Oh and love that bag Fitzio, might have been tempted to go into town tomorrow to see if I could see it in real life but I am always really paranoid that I will be seen out and about whilst off sick!!

lil miss that's great news! :)

Jenny i hate spiders, i'm always more of a wuss when there's someone here for some reason. I seem to be a bit braver when on my own but probably still cry, especially if it was fast and big :(

I live in London too, and although I am now huge and move very slowly, the barrier has never closed on me! A nice tube guy did suggest (But nicely) to me the other day that I use the new wide load barriers they have put in some stations for people with luggage (which are ticket operated not manual) but it was definitely a suggestion not a command. Mind you, I'm usually with kids at the moment who are too young for their own Oyster cards, so tend to go through the manual barriers anyway.
