Quidco is basically a way of earning extra "cashback" when you shop online. It's free to register.
So anytime you buy online check first whether they are listed on Quidco - if they are log in to Quidco then follow their link to the site. You will earn a specified % or £ in cashback when you shop.
For example, with my car insurance I used a price comparison site. Found that Sainsburys were the cheapest. Then I logged onto Quidco and did the quote via their link. I just earned £61 on a £248 policy. The funds take around 3 months to clear, but its still money for nothing as I would have bought the policy anyway.
The trick is not to buy things just to earn cashback, but to earn cashback on shopping you would have done anyway.

haha - you will love this... Ive just spent some time onto the bank - on the phone.
Now over 6 months ago I made a payment on my debit card, of an old account, and I then closed the bank account.
I had a letter from the company I paid stating my account was paid in full.
All sorted.
Then the bank send me a statement. It shows a credit balance. It seems the company in question didnt take the money properly. It was never ringfenced even - but I dont owe them anything. They are sending the money back on to me.
I am going to put this somewhere safe. Its bound to become an issue.... Then I shall have to have the mighty pen involved! A sarky letter may just happen.Trying to shift that debt!0 -
