Managed to read ALL 70 odd pages since Monday. Enjoyed the journey so far! I have been so so hooked!
I haven't managed all 70 odd pages. I read the first few and the few and have had to fill in the blanks. Oh to have the time to have done it properly! Still a great read though. Jealous of Australia. I did the same thing in reverseDecember 2005 TOTAL DEBT at its worst - [STRIKE]£20,596[/STRIKE]

I've always wondered about this. Is insurance higher on an imported car? Do you have any other expenses like getting it approved for Australian roads and registered etc?December 2005 TOTAL DEBT at its worst - [STRIKE]£20,596[/STRIKE]

Insurance is apparently slightly higher, but overall not bad. There are additional expenses including a huge whack for duty and registering the car in Oz - but overall still cheaper to take it:D.LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

I wonder what the process is like in reverse? I'd have loved to bring my car with me, but actually selling it financed the trip and my first couple of months living here so I couldn't have. Also, 2nd hand cars are so cheap here it wouldn't be cost effective.December 2005 TOTAL DEBT at its worst - [STRIKE]£20,596[/STRIKE]

Off to put a washing on and do the dishes before I walk round to collect DS from school.
Another £50ish due still from ebay and my balance today in paypal is now £208.93.
Decided the plans for tonight: - less wine - more listing on ebay with the help of my darling hubby.........(he doesn't know yet!). Will butter him up with home made chicken kiev, baby potatoes and green beans followed by homemade apple pie and haagen daas vanilla ice cream (half price of course).LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free
