    Plans for today are:

[STRIKE] 1. Wait for the post (most exciting event al day)[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE] 2. Go to Argos to collect backpack and pay for with nectar points (I didn't go yesterday)[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE] 3. Post Office to post more ebay sales[/STRIKE]
    4. Photograph and list ebay findings from Glasgow house inc. surround sound system, BNWOT River Island maxi dress, Fendi bag, kids clothes etc. Planning to list these on a 10 day listing to finish next Thursday when I arrive back in Glasgow :D.
[STRIKE] 5. Repack my bag to head back to London tomorrow :( and check in for flight.[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE] 6. No bank money paid for today (£400 was due yesterday) so will phone them to find out !!!!!!?![/STRIKE]
    7. Look out all the documents we will need certified by Justice of the Peace when I come back to Glasgow.
    8. Write to the current hounds chasing me for the 2 HBOS overdrafts and explain I disagree with the total amounts and will not be paying this. I am happy to agree a repayment plan but not based on the total they allege are due.

Think that's enough to tide me over for now:eek:.

And now to tackle the last couple of items for today. When my list is completed I will be rewarded with a nice glass of chilled white vino:A.

  • It took me hours, planned every meal for October, used all my previous receipts and online shopping sites to work out exactly what all the ingredients will cost at each store! The slow cooker is my best and healthy purchase for aiding me in saving money and losing weight. Half a stone gone already in the last 2 weeks! Yay!
    According to ABBA apparently it's a rich mans' world . . .:p

Initially I took the "wrong" matters to the FO e.g. complaining re: bank charges complaint not upheld. They weren't interested. I've had more success recently though but it is a long process. Make sure you are in the "right" before going down this road. If you are right, their findings will support you and strengthen your case;).

Thanks for that. I'm just wondering if I have any right to claim back charges from A&L. I went over my overdraft a few times and they charged me for this as well as charging me for payments they continued to pay.

    Hi Peter,

I am not the final word by any means, but I didn't have any luck with the FO in respect to my similar cases:o.

Just switched Gas & Electricity Supplier via Quidco using uswitch (cheapest supplier not offering cashback), saved a small amount on an annual basis and earned £22 cashback :D.

Started on the vino now while I am cooking ;).

Hubby really wants to go to the pub tonight for a "date", but financially I really want to save the money and energy wise I'd rather sit on the couch in my pjs with my bottle of vino and a curry.............

Hubby has gone to the shop to buy rolls and is going to slave in the kitchen making his lovely wife's breakfast :D.

Starting the "free" weightwatchers tomorrow, so will have to go to Mr T later to stock up on enough grub to keep me going on my 3 long days. Some more ebay finishing today - and really must photograph all the ebay listings today so I can list them whilst in London.
