Science adjusts its views based on what's observed.

thanks people! I'm going to try the nigella frosting! Hope they appreciate all the time i've put in-starting to think it may have been an easier option buying one! I know it will be better home made though! X

  • Hi,

I've got a tried and tested recipe for a vanilla cupcake (and a chocolate one) but I wondered if anyone had a recipe for one a bit more fancy? It's my Mum's birthday so I thought I might make one or two types.

I have in the past made a lemon meringue cupcakes and a "hot chocolate" (marshmallow and chocolate) one but I've lost the recipes. Any tried and tested recipes would be much appreciated!

Fancy how - exotic, unusual, deserty, chocolate, cocktail?? I make Rose, cardamom and White chic, earl grey, elderflower, tiramisu, coconut and lime, lemon poppyseed, cappuccino, mojito and loads more

  • By fancy I just meant something with a little bit more time and attention than I normally put into my cupcakes!! They normally look and taste great (don't all cupcakes?) but as it's for a birthday I just wanted to show a bit more effort went into them, so perhaps with a complicated recipe, or a little extra finesse in decorating.

And oh wow yours sound to die for!!

The rose and cardamom sounds just gorgeous if you can share a link to the recipe? I'm not a fan of coffee or coconut and I wonder if the alcohol ones might need more ingredients than I possess, unless they require rose wine? ;)
