I would just run up the hall with my pinny over my head screaming 'woe is me'. Trust me no one will ever mention the missing sugar.0

If anyone can remember what these are called I will be pleased to know. I will try to describe, this is I believe a traditional recipe.
The result is like a sliced biscuity, scone type with dried fruit inside.
The process of making is to roll out the dough then cover with butter, sugar and dried fruit, fold over and the cut into slices and bake. They taste lovely and I would love to try and make them again. If only I could remember the name of them!
Any help would be most appreciated0 -
Is this what you mean?
