welcome to Jan, Lewby & of course Dilbert.
As you can see, I'm quite new but I love it here.
I've had a mega busy day at work today, I've been an assessor on a recruitment day & have done 6 interviews & 6 role plays & then written them all up & scored them. I don't usually drink wine during the week but I'm sat here with quite a large glass thinking I deserve it. I enjoyed the day but it's hard to keep concentration for so long.
Tomorrow is my last day at work until Monday - yes - I have to work Easter Monday. But I have a busy weekend coming up. We have friends coming on Saturday, I've invited them to a 'let's show off the new patio' party. I started to count how many I'd asked & when I got to 19 I got scared & decided not to think about it. Goodness knows where they're all going to sit. I've decided to do HM pizzas & ciabatta, baked potatoes & loads of salads. I thought I'd make a HUGE chocolate cake & a fruit salad & yoghurt for pud. It's a good job I have Thursday & Friday off to prepare, the BM won't know what's hit it!
We're doing a day out on our bikes on Sunday with friends, picnic lunch, a couple of nice tea rooms & a pub to finish. I think we'll cover about 25 miles all together so will need to leave the pub until the end as it goes straight to the legs. ;) It'll be a good day though, I'm looking forward to it.
Just waiting for DH to come home then we'll eat - I'd better eat before I have more wine as it's going straight to my head.
:kisses: whether you want one or not - I get very affectionate when I'm tipsy. :o

How do you get results of tanning wipes off?

A certain dozy wazzock managed to end up with Tango orange paws this morning.

I can just about see the funny side now but have been venting for about an hour!!!
Oh Elona - you poor thing - I did exactly the same last year, smack bang in the middle of the scorchio weather we were having, mid way through applying to my legs, I answered the phone!!! 40 minutes later I completely forgot about the tan, and woke the next morning with streaky marmite legs and hands!! :o

I tried everything, but nothing would budge it, so spent the next week sweltering in trousers! :(

You can buy in Superdrug and Boots Fake Tan Remover wipes - as to their effectiveness, I've no idea! One of those things I always mean to buy, but never get round to it.

Hopefully as its on your hands, it should wear off quite quickly. :)

I have started using Johnsons Moisturiser with added fake tan, which you build up gradually, and so far it has been pretty easy to use, no streaks - although it does stain white undies when you first put on! :o Its on special offer practically everywhere at the mo - so will be stocking up!! :j

I don't think. I know, I find increasingly that I am doing or saying things that my mother said or did and also I gave myself a fright the other day when I looked in a mirror and saw my mother looking back at me!!!!! Scary moment!!!!!! I had always said I looked more like my father, but the mirror does not lie........

:D Actually I haven't quite got to that one yet (although my mum looks about 10 years younger than she is, so it wouldn't be too bad!)
Mind you, a while back, Mum & I were at an art class together, & we had to draw portraits of each other ... I found I had drawn my grandmother!!! :D
But I did have a shock once, when I was at a meeting where portable radio studios were being shown, & the speaker invited me to have a go. So I recorded the item that he gave me to read, then listened to the playback. Now to this day, I have no idea how my mum managed to get in there - but it was certainly her voice that came out when I played the recording back
