well my girlies are in bed already and DH is in work until 11.30 so im on here for a moan free surf night
very proud of both my dd's today.....as i said earlier the youngest one(11mths)took her first cruising steps around the furniture-theres been no stopping her,on the go all day bless her.then the oldest one(3) decided she was a big girl and wanted to use the toilet(has been potty trained for a while but refused to go on toilet until now) and has done all afternoon......i swear i've been up and downstairs about a zillion times this afternoon. think they both tired themselves out too as they've been in bed since 5 and i've not heard a peep since 5.05!!!!
dh is in good books too as he popped to makro this morning and for the freezer got 3 boneless pork joints(was one huge one he cut down),5 bags of diced beef(was stewing steak-again cut down),12 huge sub rolls,2 large packs of sarnie meat,3 peters pies and two packs of panchetta for just £13.72!!!! how chuffed was i!! i get pleased easily ehthe 5 packs of beef and 3 joints are enough to serve at least 4 people each :j
huge ironing pile is sat looking at me but mse is just soooooooo much more fun!! also got to menu plan tonight.0 -
Well done Nelski :j
Now - I must find out where the best shoe shops in Blackpool are0 -
Hi folks! have had quite a peaceful day, as I decided I wasn't going anywhere so there was no way I could spend any money, and it has worked! :T
having a few probs with my 3YO at the mo as he has sarted peeing and pooing on the lounge carpet, even though he is trained. Health visitor said not to make a fuss when cleaning it up, and to cut out orange juice and try bio yoghurt. Fingers crossed!
LTS, that's great that your wee one is walking, they look so cute when they toddle about the house when they've only crawled before. :A
I have a beef and ale stew in the oven at the mo, but have also added some leftover red wine, and now the kitchen smells like a brewery!
Cheerio!!! :jSept. grocery challenge = £500 (221.60 so far!;))0 -
Its been cold and miserable here today which leaves us feeling a bit like that too. Ive made 4 Easter eggs so far and another 8 to go .
Ive been making a net for my runner beans to grow up.Im not sure if its big enough though so I might make a second one.Im using the knitting machine and its lovely and therapeutic pushing the carriage back and forth and seeing another row of net appear(not so lovely if the yarn gets caught and it drops all the stitches though).
Breakfast today was Museli and yog
Lunch was bacon ommelete sandwiches
and tea
sausage and rice casserole with diced veg
I salvaged another piece of wood from the skip about a 5' length of 1"X2" for use in the veg patch.
Out of my window there is a tree with gorgeous pink blossom and 4 bright yellow forsythia bushes so I think Spring has come despite the drizzle
