Had my weigh in last night and I've lost 2.5lb which gives me a total so far of 5lb very happy!!

Louise - have you only just started doing the 6 mile walks or have you been doing them for a while? If you've only just started then this could explain why you are not losing at the moment as your body is hanging on to the water in your muscles as it fears dehydration. After a couple of weeks it will suddenly drop off....

We have been walking for about 4 weeks now on and off, been doing loads this week though and just before we went on our hols.

Feeling a bit more positive this morning and going to really hit this thing head on this week by continuing with the exercise and following the plan 100% I am going to keep my food diary religiously and count everything that passes my lips.

Thanks for the supportive words you lot, it really does make a difference:A

Well done to the losers STS this week x

OH is going to try SW for a week but considering he does not eat

    Veg
    Dairy products
    Cereal

    .................its going to be tough:rotfl:

I think Extra Easy is the Only way to go but he is going to struggle with the lack of bread.

    And lager...............

Lets just see how long it takes for one of us to crack:eek:

So far so good, he has had a bacon sandwich made with a wholemeal roll, he is already asking what he can have for lunch. And how many syns in a bottle of Leffe Beer.......26 syns my dear so you cant have that.

Am in holiday mood - last night I had my last session at the gymn for a week or so. Worked v hard - then came home and thought 'flexible syns ahoy':rotfl:

But we can definately put my weightloss at 2.5 lbs this week - very chuffed indeed.

Have a barbeque to go to today - so a red day I feel! Am going to make good choices this afternoon. Then tomorrow its away for a week - lots of walking to counteract the food that I intend to eat heh heh.
Onward and upward - with the odd step to the side

Sounds like your week with DH on SW might be interesting! Ive just nabbed 3 cook books off my mum so feel better prepared for the week ahead! Apart from the fact I have a stinking cold and want to eat rubbish food...

Hope you are feeling better soon Sally

2 days down so far so good, I did a sucess express day yesterday and I have to say that I was hungry, couldnt do them every day but will try to do at least 2 a week to give myself a boost.

At the age of 37 I have finally manage to cook a poached egg that hasnt disintegrated in the pan:rolleyes: I bought 2 poach pockets from Lakeland:D I can use them for poached eggs but also individual SW quiche and fritatta as they can be placed in the oven too.

OH is not too pleased that 1 can of lager is 8 syns, he usually has 2 every night during the week and more at weekends..........maybe now he will realise why he has put all the weight on in the first place.

No wonder he hasput weight on Lou...larger, cider beer are killers for adding weight, wine too come to think of it! I have to say how good I am feeling at the moment (about weight, not about my stinking cold!) and really getting into the swing of things! I have 4 weeks until school is back so hoping to loose at least another 6 pounds in those weeks which would take me to 11 pounds which should make a difference and show!
