Hang on..i didnt say Bi people were any more or less promiscuous than "str8" types !

I'm just querying from ladies...if you met a guy and he mentioned he was Bi and had had sexual contact with men in the past, would that be a barrier to your relationship?

    and further

If you were actually in a relationship and sometime downline male partner fessed to being Bi and having had sexual contact with men in the past, would that affect/end the relationship?

Thats all im asking. I'm not seeking to brand anyone.
nope wouldnt bother me in the slightest

Apologies, my hungover brain must have misunderstood! For me it wouldn't be a barrier in theory - then again, I haven't been in that position so can only assume. If i told a guy I had been with women, i don't think it would end a relationship or add problems to it!

this happened to me and no, it didnt matter. If anything it strengthened what we had.
  • Excellent news op. Something of similar magnitude occured in my marriage and the end result was that we ended up even closer than we ever were. I hope you find a way forward.

Relationships come in different shapes & sizes, so long as the people within it are happy, and no-one is being hurt, it's all good.

My hubby expressed that he had bisexual leanings/urges a few years ago. It's made no difference to my feelings for him at all. He's free to act on them should he so wish. Not everyone would be happy with that, but we are.

    Wouldn't - and didn't - bother me at all.

Well I'm just surmising and as such, I'll leave it to women to express opinions on it for now.

I think though if boy meets girl and they are getting on swimmingly, then boy says he likes boys as well and OMG he has also had sexual contact with men,i think it would put a bit of a dampener on the relationship for most women..i dunno..over to you girls. Maybe I'm just too traditional?

I have nothing against homosexuality at all. But i wouldnt like to be with a bi man as i dont like the thought of where his 'wotsit' might have been (you know what i mean:o),it would turn me completely off.

I understand what you mean Mely....though his watsit could equally have been up his ex female partners thingy !

I am not sure how prevalent such practices are in heterosexual relationships and i cant say i have ever been with a fem partner who has expressed a desire to have her teatowel holder explored in such a manner.

I can cope with knowing that my oh had been with other women before me, but i couldnt stand it if he went with someone else then wanted to sleep with me! The same would be if it was another man, (except my oh is straight). Id also worry that if i was with a bi partner that i wouldnt be enough for him, and he would cheat with another man. Its not something that i could live with.

I didn't say you were, I just explained what would worry me.

I've known two women involved (married) to bi-men & they were both unfaithful with men. I know a lot of men would be faithful anyway, but they are tempted by something they really "can't get at home".

I am not sure but I'm guessing many women would not find the thought of having a relationship with an openly Bi guy very palatable? call me old fashioned if you like.
i agreefully with you, maybe we are old fashioned:confused:.
